Horde Breaker
Choosing the Horde Breaker conclave means specializing in handling large groups of foes with ease. The techniques employed by you take advantage of your heightened senses to methodically reduce packs in size.
Horde Breaker Magic
Starting at 3rd level, you learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Hunter Spells table. The spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of rangers spells you know.
Horde Breaker Spells
| Ranger level | Features |
|---|---|
| 3rd | expeditious retreat |
| 5th | web |
| 9th | slow |
| 13th | freedom of movement |
| 17th | wall of stone |
Twin Strike
Starting at 3rd level, your strikes gain an uncanny power, allowing you to hit different creatures with ease. Once on each of your turns when you make a weapon attack, you can make another attack with the same weapon against a different creature that is within 5 feet of the original target and within range of your weapon.
Hasty Retreat
At 7th level, you learn how to weave through precarious situations. Opportunity attacks against you are made with disadvantage. If you are hit by an opportunity attack, you may use your reaction to immediately move an additional 30 feet without provoking opportunity attacks
Owl's Flight
Beginning at 11th level, you learn how to split your attention without losing efficiency. As a bonus action or when you cast a spell, you mark a creature you can see within 60 feet of you until you finish a short or long rest. Once per turn if a creature marked by you if it makes an attack does not include you as its target, you may move up to 15 feet without provoking opportunity attacks and make a weapon attack against it. This attack does not use your reaction and does not count as an opportunity attack.
Stand Against the Tide
At 15th level, where an enemy misses you see a golden opportunity. When a hostile creature misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to force that creature to repeat the same attack against another creature (other than itself) of your choice. If the attack targets a creature marked by you, the attack is made at advantage.
