You attune your vision to the colors and hues that make up the canvas of Aesl. While you concentrate the world around you grows dim and vague, as if it weren't quite the truth of existence. However, magical effects, items, and creatures radiate in vibrant color under this vision, revealing the types of magic that make them up. As long as you maintain concentration, you can use your Intelligence (Arcana) check to gain insight into how a certain magic works, or how it is to be used.

A wizard with enough time to study an effect could use this to record the spell in his spellbook, and anyone could use this to learn how to use a magic item (although not the specifics of what it does).
