### Dragon Domain Dragon gods like Bahamut, Tiamat and Garyx all have different goals, and they order their clerics to fulfill these goals. These gods are usually associated with other domains too. The dragon gods usually give you a Dragon Protector, who you share your magical energy with. Most clerics never meet their protector, but when they do, both of the cleric's and the dragon's powers increase immensely. ##### Dragon Domain Spells | Cleric Level | Spells | |:---:|:-----------:| | 1st | *burning hands, hellish rebuke* | | 3rd | *flame blade, warding bond*| | 5th | *fireball, spirit guardians* | | 7th | *wall of fire, guardian of faith*| | 9th | *destructive wave, mass cure wounds* | #### Bonus Proficiencies When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with heavy armor. You also learn to write and speak Draconic. #### Blessing of the Dragon From 1st level, your god imbues you with quick bolts of magical energy. Once per turn, you can cast a cantrip as a bonus action. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. At 1st level, choose a type of dragon protector. The damage type associated with each dragon is used by features you gain later. | Dragon Protector | Damage Type | |:---:|:-----------:| | Black | Acid | | Blue | Lightning | | Brass | Fire | | Bronze | Lightning | | Copper | Acid | | Gold | Fire | | Green | Poison | | Red | Fire | | Silver | Cold | | White | Cold | When you gain a domain spell that deals damage other than radiant damage, change it's damage type to the one you get from your dragon protector. #### Channel Divinity: The Dragon Knight’s challenge Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to taunt your enemies, then destroy them with wave of burning energy. As an action, you present your holy symbol, and creature within 30 feet of you that’s hostile to you has to make a wisdom saving throw. If a creature fails it’s saving throw, it has to use its next turn to get as close to you as it can, and then use its action to attack you with a melee attack. Then on your next turn, as a bonus action you release the burning energy you have been holding inside you. Every creature within 10 feet of you has to make a dexterity saving throw. A creature takes damage equal to 2d10 + your cleric level on a failed saving throw, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage type the one associated with your Dragon Protector. A creature that has total cover from you is not affected by the explosion. #### Dragon Saint Starting at 6th level, your god grants you special abilities: * You gain resistance to the damage type associated with your Dragon Protector. * While wearing heavy armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC. #### Potent Spellcasting Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip. #### Soul of the Dragon At 17th level, your Dragon Protector lets you use their whole magical power. You gain immunity to the damage type associated with your Dragon Protector Once per day, you can unleash the the true power of your Dragon protector. For one minute, you gain the following benefits: * Spectral wings grow from your back, and spectral horns from your head. * You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed * You can use your wisdom modifier for your unarmed strikes, that deal damage equal to 2d10 + your wisdom modifier. The damage type of your unarmed strikes is the one you get from you Dragon Protector. You can't use this feature again till you finish a long rest.
