The cold is an ancient thing, an elemental force that drives bends all life to its unyielding will. Its power has been infused into giants. Dragons command winds that can freeze a man solid. And now, your fury has cracked the endless font of a cold, primal force and begun to bend it to your will. Starting at 3rd level when you choose this path, you can use your weapons to send a wave of chilling power through the bodies of your enemies. When you hit a creature with a melee attack while raging, you can cause that creature to take an extra 1d4 cold damage and have their speed reduced by 5 feet until the start of your next turn, to a minimum of 5 feet. In addition, you gain resistance to cold damage while raging. Starting at 3rd level, you can infuse objects with the essence of cold. You can use your action to touch an object or water and freeze up to a 5 square feet of it, provided there are no creatures in it. Any damage you deal to an object frozen in this way is doubled. The ice fades after 10 minutes. At 10th level you can freeze up to 10 square feet. Starting at 6th level, your endurance against the cold has inured you to effects that would stagger those weaker than you. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Constitution saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed and only half damage if you fail. In addition, when you land a critical hit against a creature, you can cause it to become petrified until the start of its next turn, as you cover it in a thick but fragile layer of ice. Starting at 10th level, you become one with the cold. You gain the following benefits: At 14th level, you unleash sheer cold in you moment of greatest fury, creating a mighty blizzard. While raging, you exude an aura in a 30 foot radius. The aura is heavily obscured for hostile creatures and whenever a hostile creature starts its turn in the aura, it takes cold damage equal to half your barbarian level. Whenever a friendly creature starts its turn in the aura, it gains temporary hit points equal to your barbarian level. In addition, cold damage you deal while raging ignores resistance to cold damage, and treats immunity to cold damage as resistance.
