Burning Soul
At 3rd level, you have unlocked the power of the phoenix, the embodiment of renewal and rebirth. Your body becomes warm to the touch, and your eyes an iridescent gemstone color of your choice.
The damage type of your melee attacks is now radiant.
Your soul can outlive your physical form. 1 minute after dying, your body is consumed by radiant fire, and is reduced to a pile of ashes. After 1d4-1 hours, your body reforms from the ashes, and you return to life with 1 hp.
Mortal Transcendence
Starting at level 6, you may spend 3 Ki points to cast the spell Revivify without any material components.
As a bonus action, you may spend 1 Ki point to wreathe your body in radiant energy for a round, granting you and all allies within 30 feet your monk level in temporary hit points.
As an action, you may glimpse into the soul of a living creature, and you can immediately tell if it was ever reincarnated, and what it was beforehand.
Flesh to Ash
Starting at level 11, when you hit another creature with a melee weapon attack and kill it, you may spend 2 Ki points to turn its body to ash as per the spell Disintegrate.
Protective Radiance
Starting at level 11, you may expend your reaction to reduce the damage of any single attack against a creature within 15 feet of you by 1d10 + your monk level.
Embodiment of the Phoenix
Starting at level 17, you gain the ability to awaken the Phoenix spirit inside yourself. For 5 Ki, you may expend your action to gain the following benefits for 10 minutes:
- You grow large, colorful wings, granting you a flight speed equal to your movement.
- Your eyes glow blindingly bright. In place of a single attack, you may expend 1 Ki point to look any creature within 120 feet of you in the eyes and force it to make a Constitution saving throw against your Ki save DC. On a failed save, the creature is blinded for 1 round.
- Your body lets off bright light in a 50 foot radius, and dim light for 50 feet beyond.
