Lords of the Skies

The Iblink resemble humanoid birds, with plumage and features similar to those of Earth’s birds of prey. Their bones are hollow, allowing them to fly. In ancient times, they served the giants, alongside the Elves. When the giant civilization fell, they fled to the depths of the continent. Rumors has been going around for years of a race of creatures, similar to the Aarakocra, yet different in many ways.

Scions of the Dragon Above

When the Progenitor Wyrms became one with the cosmos, they each created a few races. From cruel Kyber came the Fiends. From peaceloving Ebberon came Humans, Elves, and other Humanoids. From proud Siberys came the great Dragons. Upon Siberys' death, and the creation of the Ring of Siberys, two scales fell from his body. From these came the Iblink, named so for their hawklike appearance. In fact, Iblink means "hawk" in Draconic.

Iblink Traits

Iblink share the following traits.

Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1, and your Dexterity score increases by 2.

Age. Iblink reach maturity at age 30, and can live for about 500 years.

Alignment. Iblink tend towards law and good. Evil Iblink are very rare, and usually are outcasts.

Size. Iblink average between 6 and 7 feet in height. Your size is Medium

Speed. Your walking speed is 30 feet.

Flight. You have a flying speed of 30 feet. To use this speed, you can’t be wearing medium armor, heavy armor, or wielding a weapon with the heavy feature.

Iblink Weapons Training. You have proficiency with scimitars, spears, and longbows.

Keen Senses. You have proficiency with the Perception Skill.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, and Draconic.
