Biology and Appearance
Selonians are a mustelid species of humanoids known for their tall, lean figures, powerful tails, and retractable claws. They are capable of both bipedal and quadrupedal movement, and are natural climbers and swimmers, allowing them to build underground tunnels and warrens across worlds they inhabit.
Most Selonians are infertile females, with around one in every hundred being males, and one in every five hundred being fertile females.
Society and Culture
Selonians are more concerned with the protection of their people, and as such they are rarely encountered outside of the Corellian system. Selonians generally appear very friendly, outgoing, and charitable, though their interests rarely go beyond securing the stability of their respective den. Selonians view the actions of individuals to have an impact on the entire group. To most Selonians, lies and deceit are as criminal as murder.
Selonian society revolves around a single fertile female who ruled over the family den as Queen, and her consort of breeding males. Large numbers of infertile females were raised and trained to fulfill the tasks of labor, defense, trade, and diplomacy as needed for the den's survival.

Size. Selonians typically stand between 6 to 7 feet tall and generally weigh about of 150 lbs on average. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.
Speed. Selonians can move quickly on both two and four legs. Your base walking speed is 40 feet.
Strong Tails Your tail is strong enough to be used as an unarmed strike that does not require a free hand. If you hit with it, you deal kinetic damage equal to 1d6 plus your Strength modifier.
Natural Swimmer Selonians make their homes in riverside burrows, using webbed digits and their tails to propel them in the water seemlessly. You have a swim speed of 30 feet.
Climber's Claws You have retractable claws useful for digging and climbing. Your climbing speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision You have a keen eyesight, especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
