A single red arcane missile buries itself in a creature within range, its arcane signature acting as a beacon for future missiles.
Make a ranged spell attack against that creature. On a hit, the magic missile deals 2d4 force damage to its target, and on each of your turns for the duration, you can use your action to send a number of magic missiles equal to one more than the amount sent on your previous turn, up to a maximum of 5.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2rd Level of or higher, the damage increases by 1d4 for every slot levels above the 1st.
