# Force Spells #####
#### Versatile Disk of Force *3rd level evocation (Wizard)* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 Action - **Range:** 30 feet - **Components:** V, S, M *(a silver disk worth 50gp)* - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 10 minutes ___ This spell creates a circular plane of force, 3 feet in diameter and 1 inch thick, that appears in an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within range. The disk remains for the duration, and it moves at your command. When you cast the spell and as a bonus action on your subsequent turns, you can move the hand up to 30 feet and cause one of the following effects with it. ___ **Carry.** The disk can hold up to 500 pounds or one medium or smaller creature. If more weight is placed on it or an additional creature gets on it, the spell ends, and everything on the disk falls to the ground. ___ **Shield.** The disk moves to protect a creature of your choice until you give the disk a different command. The disk provides the target with half cover. ___ **Push.** The disk attempts to push a large or smaller creature within 5 feet of it in a direction you choose. The target must make a Strength saving throw. On a failure, the disk pushes the target up to 15 feet. The disk moves with the target to remain within 5 feet of it. \columnbreak #### Mercurial Weapon *2nd level evocation (Wizard)* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 Action - **Range:** 60 feet - **Components:** V, S, M *(a drop of mercury)* - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 minute ___ You create a shimmering weapon of translucent force that hovers within range that lasts for the duration. When you cast the spell and as a bonus action on your subsequent turns, you can move the weapon up to 20 feet and choose one of the following effects with it. ___ **Greatsword.** The weapon takes the form of a greatsword. Make a melee spell attack against a target of your choice within 5 feet of the weapon. On a hit, the target takes force damage equal to 2d6 + your spellcasting ability modifier. ___ **Lance.** The weapon takes the form of a lance. Make a melee spell attack against a target of your choice within 10 feet of the weapon. On a hit, the target takes 1d12 force damage. ___ **Maul.** The weapon takes the form of a maul. Make a melee spell attack against a target of your choice within 5 feet of the weapon. On a hit, the target takes 2d6 force damage and must make a Strength saving throw if it is size Large or smaller. On a failure, the creature is knocked prone or pushed 5 feet away from the weapon. ___ **At Higher Levels:** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage from the greatsword and maul options increase by 2d6 and the damage from the lance increases by 1d12 for every two slot levels above the 2nd.
