Martyr's Sacrifice (Supernatural Ability)

### Martyr's Sacrifice
Starting at 1st level, this ability has the following effect:
<br> Whenever the [dauntless defender's](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT) partner takes three (or more) points of [hitpoint](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/combat/#TOC-Hit-Points) damage, a portion of that damage is redirected to the [dauntless defender](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT), in which case the [dauntless defender](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT) loses a number of [hitpoints](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/combat/#TOC-Hit-Points) equal to 33% (rounded up) of that damage (instead of 0%) and his partner loses a number of [hitpoints](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/combat/#TOC-Hit-Points) equal to 66% (rounded down) of that damage (instead of 100%).
<br> Note: If the [dauntless defender](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT) is [immune](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/rules-for-monsters/universal-monster-rules/#immunity_ex_or_su) to the type of damage that was dealt to his partner, this effect will not activate.

When the [dauntless defender](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT) reaches 3rd level, this ability gains an additional effect:
<br> While they remain linked, both the [dauntless defender](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT) and his partner gain [healing amplification](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LyfbHBIsrv2jIrKgWz0) 33%.

When the [dauntless defender](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT) reaches 7th level, this ability gains an additional effect:
<br> While the [dauntless defender's](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT) partner is subject to a [detrimental](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-OAaW5HNY-ubs3P8M4mw) effect, the [dauntless defender](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT) can spend a [free](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/combat/#TOC-Free-Actions) action in order to transfer that effect from his partner to himself; for the remaining duration of that effect, the [dauntless defender's](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT) partner remains unaffected by it, and the [dauntless defender](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT) suffers any penalties/restrictions/etc. that that effect would have otherwise inflicted upon his partner.
<br> Note: The [dauntless defender](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LWMb1qszUa0XktaZDhT) cannot transfer an effect from his partner to himself if he is [immune](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/rules-for-monsters/universal-monster-rules/#immunity_ex_or_su) to that type of effect.
