Resolute Resistance
Starting at 1st level, this ability has the following effect:
Whenever both the dauntless defender and his partner make a saving throw against the same spell/ability/etc., whichever one of them gets the less favorable roll can choose to replace the result of their roll with the result of the other's roll. For example, if both the dauntless defender and his partner were caught within the area of effect of a Lightning Bolt, they would each be required to make a Reflex saving throw against it; if the dauntless defender's die landed on a 13 and his partner's die landed on a 6, his partner could choose to calculate their saving throw as though they had rolled a 13 as well.
When the dauntless defender reaches 3rd level, this ability gains an additional effect:
While they remain linked, both the dauntless defender and his partner gain a +2 morale bonus on saving throws.
When the dauntless defender reaches 7th level, this ability gains an additional effect:
Both the dauntless defender and his partner gain spell resistance [x].
[x] is equal to nine plus 4% of the dauntless defender's maximum hitpoint total (rounded up)
