## Giants Surrounding Bryn Shander

While your battle at the gates rages on, the other giants surrounding the city hurl boulders at and over the city walls. At the end of each round of combat, everybody roll a **d20**, succeeding with a 10 or higher. For each failure, one boulder connects and does some gnarly damage, determined by rolling a second **d20** on the following table.

| 6-10 || A boulder sails over the wall and crushes a building, and **1d4** townspeople along with it. |
| 11-15  || A boulder smashes into the top of the parapet, killing **1d4** militia. |
| 16-20 || A boulder destroys something hilarious, but no one is hurt. Narrate something funny. Bonus XP for hilarity.|

### Wall Breach
After three solid hits from the frost giants' massive boulders, the walls of Bryn Shander are breached and giants begin to enter. Starting one round after a breach occurs, one giant enters the city through the break in the wall at the end of every round (maximum of 9). Any giant inside the walls kills **1d6** townspeople at will at the end of every round. Multiple breaches can occur! When a breach occurs, begin tracking the next possible breach following three more boulder strikes.

### Experience Points
At the end of the battle, in addition to any experience points gained from killing monsters, the party will receive a butt load of XP for saving the town.  That is, if anyone in town remains alive... The party's overall reward starts at 5000 XP and decreases by 100 for every Bryn Shander townsperson that perishes.
