This effect persists for as long as you maintain [concentration](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic#TOC-Concentration) on Sanguine Mutilation; it can neither be ended prematurely via a [Heal](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/skills/heal) check nor be ended prematurely via the application of an effect that restores [hitpoints](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/combat/#TOC-Hit-Points).
Note: You cannot target a being that does not have blood (such as a [construct](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/constructs/)) with Sanguine Mutilation.
