Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the spear saint fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Nimble Fingers. The spear saint can load its pistol with one hand, doesn't use an object interaction to draw or stow it, and ignores its loading property.

Way of Tomoe (1/Day). As a bonus action while the spear saint is below 125 hit points and can see a point in the sky, it can channel lightning into its glaive. The spear saint holds its glaive aloft and lightning strikes it. Each creature within 5 feet of the spear saint must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 11 (2d10) lightning damage on a failed saving throw, or half as much on a successful one. Additionally, for the next minute, any target hit by the spear saint's glaive attack or that fails its saving throw against the spear saint's Sweeping Spin or Force Wave takes an additional 5 (1d10) lightning damage (included in the attacks).

Actions

Multiattack. The spear saint makes two weapon attacks.

Glaive. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage, plus 5 (1d10) lightning damage if Way of Tomoe is active.

Pistol. Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 30/90 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d10 + 5) piercing damage.

Sweeping Spin. The spear saint sweeps its glaive around itself. Each creature within 10 feet of the spear saint must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage, plus 5 (1d10) lightning damage if Way of Tomoe is active.

Force Wave. The spear saint swipes its glaive through the air with such power that it creates a shockwave. Each creature in a a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage, plus 5 (1d10) lightning damage if Way of Tomoe is active.


Reactions

Parry. The spear saint adds 4 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the spear saint must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.

Legendary Actions

The spear saint can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The spear saint regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Glaive. The spear saint makes a glaive attack.

Retreating Sweep (Costs 2 Actions). The spear saint uses its Sweeping Spin, then leaps up to 20 feet in a direction of its choice. This leap doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.
