Warlock Patrons

Otherworldly Patron

At 1st level, a warlock gains the Otherworldly Patron feature. Here are two options for that feature: the Genie and the Wyrm.

Homebrew Material

This document presents homebrew materials by TheOriginalGRapeNinja. These game mechanics are in draft form, usable in your campaign but not refined by design iterations or full game development.

If you have any comments or suggestions concerning the materials, please fuck right off.

Hellfire Warlock

Many mortals make pacts with Fiends for a variety of reasons. However, when a Fiends needs a bad motherfucker, the Fiend imbues the bastard with the power of hellfire. Hellfire will rip at the bastard's very soul to annihilate their collective foes. The star the burns twice as hot burns half as long.

Hellfire Warlock Expanded Spells

This pact lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell.

Your choice grants you a list of spells, which are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Hellfire Warlock Expanded Spells
Spell Level Spells
1st absorb Elements, faerie fire
2nd Agannazar's scorcher, flaming sphere
3rd daylight, Milf's minute meteors
4th fire shield, wall of fire
5th flame strike, immolation

Brimstone Blast

Starting at first level, when the Warlock hits a creature with Eldritch Blast, the Warlock may choose to add a number of D6s equal to ⅓ your Warlock level (rounded down, at least 1) to your eldritch blast damage. When this ability is used, the Warlock takes 1d4-1 CON damage. Any ability score damage taken as a result of this feature cannot by restored by any means other than a long rest. Heal all ability score damage caused by this feature at the end of a long rest.

Additionally, you can speak, read, and write Infernal, and whenever you make a Charisma check when interacting with fiends, your proficiency bonus is doubled if it applies to the check.

Hellfire Shield

Starting at 6th level, when the Warlock takes damage, you may use your reaction to reduce that damage to 1. When you use this ability, you incur 1 level of exhaustion.

Hellfire Infusion

When you use an item to cast a spell, you can use the following Metamagic options: Empower, Careful, Elemental, and Seeking spell.

When rolling die to see how many spells a wand or staff recharges, treat all 1s as 2.

Ignore class, race, and level requirements for magic items.

Burnt to a Crisp

When you hit a creature with eldritch blast, you may cast Immolation as a bonus action (Immolation need not be a spell known) using a Warlock Spell slot (concentration required). When cast in this way, the creature targeted by the spell can repeat the save at the end of its turn, for half damage on a success. Making the save does not cause the spell to end. The spell ends if the Warlock becomes unconscious or loses concentration. Once a Warlock uses this, he cannot use it again until long rest

Warlock Eldritch Invocations

At 2nd level, a warlock gains the Eldritch Invocations feature. Here are new options for that feature, in addition to the options in the Player's Handbook.

If an eldritch invocation has a prerequisite, you must meed it to learn the invocation. You can learn the invocation at the same time that you meet its prerequisite. A level prerequisite refers to your level in this class.

Devour Magic

Prerequisite: 5th level

You can cast either Dispel or Counterspell once without expending a Warlock spell slot. When you successfully dispel or counter a spell, roll a d20. On a roll of 17 or higher, the warlock may spend a hit die to cast a spell or cantrip.

Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you finish a short, or long rest

Blast Cone

Prerequisite: eldritch blast

Allows a Warlock to target all creatures in a 15ft cone with eldritch blast. Use the same damage and attack rolls for all targets

Once you use this invocation, you cannot use it again until you finish a short, or long rest.

Tearstone Temptation

When your current HP is less than your current Constitution score, once on each of your turns you can do extra damage equal to your Warlock level to one target when you deal damage to it using an attack or a spell.

Armlet of Mordigan

As an action, roll a number of hit dice equal to half your Warlock level and gain Temporary HP equal to half of the result plus your Warlock level. The hit dice that are used for this ability are expended and must be recovered by resting.

Once this ability is used, it cannot be used again until you take a long rest.

Devil's Stamina

Prerequisite: 5th level

You gain the benefits of the Tough feat. You gain additional HP for only your Warlock levels. HP gained from this invocation stacks with the HP gained from any source.

All this shit belongs to the OriginalGRapeNinja unless I say otherwise, motherfuckers. Special thanks to D&D Wiki, NaturalCrit Homebrewery tool, Weirdo Whoever and GM Binder for providing the templates for my imaginations.

Many features are based on and converted from invocations from 3.5rd edition supplements Complete Arcane and Complete Mage.
