Other People's homebrew
This is basically all the stuff that I liked and saw on Reddit and am just collecting it here for convenience. No credit is given because its for convenience, but none of it is mine.
Mechanics
- make my players roll 2d6+6 for all the stats. Gives you a minimum of 8, max 18, and an average of 13.
- Cheat Sheet for new players/kids
- altered the length of the chains in White Plume Mountain's mud room to be 29 feet and 4 inches long, so that their pendulum arcs were 6 seconds and they lined up with the turn order in combat.
- make the copper dragon breathe green fire bc copper sulfate burns green
- allow the cool double spells/ combo wombos when PCs roll the same initiative

- Many fail states- ghoul tracking
- Goodberries are coffee

Items
The daggers sing with their respective birdsong during the ritual. When your nightingale dagger begins to sing, you know that this means someone has begun the process of teleporting to you.
