## design notes
### Weapon Empathy
originally this feature granted an INT substitution for weapon attack and damage rolls. it was pointed out that it was a potential hex blade in the making which I agreed with and have since changed to what it is now. If anybody is wondering why I think this subclass (and truthfully all artificers) do not need INT for weapon attack and damage, the reason is that the artificer in general has so many options for enhancing their real chance to hit with either infusions or spells such that it is a bit ridiculous. I would argue that a standard human (not Vhuman) with a point buy array of 11,14,14,14,14,14 with 11 being strength can work very easily for an artificer unlike any other class.
### Artificer's Recovery
This is a feature that I came up with recently as a potential endurance fix for artificer's subclasses whose subclass features require spell slots and are exceptionally draining of said spell slots in order to gain optimal value and utilisation of those spell slots. in essence it's fundamentally a fix intended for the Alchemist Subclass first and foremost however I thought I'd try altering the forgemaster, which is what this subclass concept used to be called, into something a little bit more spell slot hungry.
### lack of subclass unique spells
I originally provided a list of spells however I decided to can the subclass bonus list as it just was an annoying case of duplication of function
