#### Equipment
You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background:

Alternatively, you may start with 5d4 gp to buy your own equipment.

#### Multiclassing
The prerequisites for multiclassing into a psion are an Intelligence and Wisdom scores of 13 or higher. Multiclassing into psion does not grant you any bonus proficiencies.

### Psionics
You have unlocked your mind's latent psionic potential, a feat few can lay claim to.

#### Psionic Disciplines
A psionic discipline is a way of thinking that allows the psion to enact changes in the world using only their mind. Each discipline consists of powers called psionic talents, and augments they can apply to those powers by changing the way they conceptualize. At 1st level, you have access to one psionic discipline. You learn more psionic disciplines as you gain levels in this class, as shown in the Disciplines Known column of the Psion table.

In addition, whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one discipline you know with a different one of your choice. This represents a paradigm shift or revelation in your own research that fundamentally changes the way you interpret yourself, others, or existence as a whole.

#### Psi Points
You have a pool of psi points, which represent your internal reservoir of psionic energy that can be used to create or enhance psionic effects. You can spend these points to fuel various psion features.

The number of psi points you have is based on your psion level, as shown in the Psi Points column of the Psion table. The number shown for your level is your psi point maximum. Your psi point total returns to its maximum when you finish a long rest. The number of psi points you have can't go below 0 or over your maximum.

#### Psi Limit
Though you have access to a potent amount of psionic energy, it takes training and practice to channel that energy. There is a limit on the number of psi points you can spend each turn. The limit is based on your psion level, as shown in the Psi Limit column of the Psion table.

#### Augments
Each discipline has a suite of augments that accompany it, which allow you to alter and empower the way your psionic talents are manifested. At 1st level, you can learn one augmentation for a discipline you know.

Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one augmentation you know with a different augmentation for a discipline you know. If you replace an entire discipline when you gain a level, you replace any of the augmentations you had for that discipline in the same way.

#### Psionic Ability
Intelligence is your psionic ability for your psionic disciplines. You use your Intelligence modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a psion feature or when making an attack roll with one.

### Telepathy
You can communicate telepathically with any creature you can see within 30 feet of you. You don't need to share a language with the creature for it to understand your telepathic utterances, but the creature must be able to understand at least one language.

### Mystic Order
At 1st level, you choose a Mystic Order from the following: Order of the Awakened, Order of the Nomad, and Order of the Metamind. Although they need not be physical orders or groups of psions, each order focuses on developing their psionic powers towards a specific end, and have diverging philosophies on how to best apply the power of the mind.

Your order gives you features when you choose it at 1st level and additional features at 3rd, 6th, and 14th level.

### Psionic Spellcasting
At 2nd level, you can use your psionic abilities to disrupt the weave with only your mind, creating discrete magical effects.

#### Casting Psionic Spells 
Psionic spells are cast using psi points: you expend a number of psi points based on the level of the spell you are trying to cast, as shown on the Psionic Spellcasting table below. You can cast a spell as if using a spell slot of a higher level by spending the amount points that the higher level spell slot would require. For example, to cast *charm person* as if using a 2nd-level spell slot instead of a 1st level, you would simply spend 3 psi points instead of 2 psi points.

A spell cast using psi points uses your psionic ability score, and ignores any components the spell may have, with the exception of material components that denote a specific cost or are consumed in the casting of the spell.

#### Spells Known
At 1st level, you know two 1st-level spells of your choice from the list of Psion spells detailed below.

The Spells Known column of the Psion table shows when you learn more psion spells of your choice. Each of these spells must be of a level no greater than half your psion level (rounded up).

Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the psion spells you know and replace it with another spell from the psion spell list, which also must be of a level no greater than half your psion level (rounded up).

### Practiced Manifesting
Starting at 5th level, whenever you use your action to manifest a psionic talent, you can manifest an additional psionic talent as part of that action. It can be the same talent, or a different one. The additional talent must require an action to manifest.

Starting at 11th level, one of these talents can be replaced with a spell cast using your Psionic Spellcasting feature. Additionally, once each turn you can increase the damage dealt by one of your psionic disciplines or spells by one damage die.

### Psychic Mastery
Starting at 11th level, you learn how to push your psionics to their very limit. At the start of your turn, you can use this feature to raise your psi limit to 9 and gain 9 temporary psi points. At the end of your turn, your psi limit goes back to normal, and the temporary psi points disappear. Alternatively, you can use this feature to cast a 6th-level psion spell you know, or a lower level psion spell as if cast using a spell slot of that level.

You regain any expended uses of this feature when you finish a long rest.

You gain a second use of this feature at 13th level, however this use grants you a psi limit of 10, 10 temporary psi points and the ability to cast a psion spell of up to 7th level.

You gain a third use of this feature at 15th level, which grants you a psi limit of 11, 11 temporary psi points and the ability to cast a psion spell of up to 8th level.

Lastly, you gain a fourth use of this feature at 17th level, which grants you a psi limit of 13, 13 temporary psi points and the ability to cast a psion spell of up to 9th level.

Starting at 17th level, you learn how to push your psionics to their very limit. At the start of your turn, you can use this feature to raise your psi limit to 13 until the end of the turn, and to gain 13 temporary psi points which disappear at the start of your next turn. Alternatively, you can use this feature to cast a 9th-level psion spell you know, or a lower level psion spell as if cast using a 9th-level spell.

Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again.-->

### Master Disciple
At 18th level, you become a master of a particular psionic discipline. Choose a discipline you know. Whenever you spend psi points to augment one of its talents, you can reduce the psi point cost by 1.

### Psionic Body
At 20th level, your mastery of psionic power causes your mind to transcend the body. Your physical form is infused with psionic energy. You gain the following benefits:
- You gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
- You no longer age.
- You are immune to disease, poison damage, and the poisoned condition.
- If you die, roll a d20. On a 10 or higher, you discorporate with 0 hit points, instead of dying, and you fall unconscious. You and your gear disappear. You appear at a spot of your choice 1d3 days later on the plane of existence where you died, having gained the benefits of one long rest.

## Mystic Orders
The nature of psionics as a magic of the mind makes it so your goals, aspirations, and thought processes shape the nature of your power. Mystic orders are an attempt to categorize the like-minded psionicists that have independently developed similar foci in their development, and, as such, similar capabilities. Some mystic orders are quite literal, physical collections of psionic practitioners (as in illithids and gith, for example), but a psion need not be part of a cabal of psions to be said to be a part of a given order.

### Order of the Awakened
Mystics dedicated to the Order of the Awakened seek to unlock the full potential of the mind. By transcending the physical, the Awakened hope to attain a state of being focused on pure intellect and mental energy.

The Awakened are skilled at bending minds and unleashing devastating psionic attacks, and they can read the secrets of the world through psionic energy. Awakened mystics who take to adventuring excel at unraveling mysteries, solving puzzles, and defeating monsters by turning them into unwilling pawns.

#### Bonus Discipline
At 1st level, you learn an additional psionic discipline of your choice out of Telepathy, Empathy, and Extemporality. This discipline doesn't count against the number of disciplines you know.

#### Awakened Talent
At 1st level, you gain proficiency with one of the following skills of your choice: Animal Handling, Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Investigation, Perception, and Persuasion. You can use Intelligence in place of that skill's normal ability score, and your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses this proficiency.

#### Psionic Investigation
Starting at 3rd level, you can focus your mind to read the psionic imprint left on an object. If you hold an object and concentrate on it for 10 minutes (as if concentrating on a psionic discipline), you learn a few basic facts about it. You gain a mental image from the object's point of view, showing the last creature to hold the object within the past 24 hours.

You also learn of any events that have occurred within 20 feet of the object within the past hour. The events you perceive unfold from the object's perspective. You see and hear such events as if you were there, but can't use other senses.

Additionally, you can embed an intangible psionic sensor within the object. For the next 24 hours, you can use an action to learn the object's location relative to you (its distance and direction) and to look at the object's surroundings from its point of view as if you were there. This perception lasts until the start of your next turn.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

#### Astral Erasure
By 6th level, you realize that if existence is a mere exercise of thought, than the same is true for nonexistence. As an action, you can cease to exist for everyone except yourself for 1 minute, or until you lose concentration. While under this effect, other creatures can't perceive you with their senses, attack you, or target you with any effect. Creatures can still react to the way you manipulate objects around them, but they rationalize it to the best of their ability.

This effect ends early if you make an attack, force a creature to make a saving throw, or directly touch a creature. You can attempt to stealthily manipulate items in a creatures possession, but this effect ends early if they notice you doing so.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

#### Paragon of Thought
At 10th level, your mind is a nigh unassailable fortress. You have resistance to psychic damage, and whenever a creature within range of your telepathy is forced to make an Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throw, you can use your reaction to grant them advantage on the roll.

#### Uncarnate
At 14th level, you gain the ability to shed corporeality to instead become ghostly figure of psionic energy. As an action, you can transform into a transparent, ghostly version of yourself. While in this form, you have resistance to all damage, have a flying speed equal to your base speed, and can pass through objects and creatures while moving but can't willingly end your movement in their spaces. The form lasts for 10 minutes or until you use an action to end it.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

### Order of the Nomad
Mystics of the Order of the Nomad keep their minds in a strange, rarified state. They seek to accumulate as much knowledge as possible, as they quest to unravel the mysteries of the multiverse and seek the underlying structure of all things. At the same time, they perceive a bizarre, living web of knowledge they call the noosphere.

Nomads, as their name indicates, delight in travel, exploration, and discovery. They desire to accumulate as much knowledge as possible, and the pursuit of secrets and hidden lore can become an obsession for them.

#### Bonus Discipline
At 1st level, you learn one additional psionic discipline of your choice out of Telepathy, Psychoportation, and Extemporality. This discipline doesn't count against the number of disciplines you know.

#### Breadth of Knowledge
At 1st level, you gain the ability to access the noosphere to obtain new knowledge. When you finish a long rest, you gain two proficiencies of your choice: two tools, two skills, or one of each. You can replace one or both of these selections with languages. This benefit lasts until you finish a long rest.

#### Memory of a Thousand Steps
At 3rd level, you gain the ability to use psionics to recall your steps. As a reaction when you are hit by an attack, you can teleport to an unoccupied space that you occupied since the start of your last turn, and the attack misses you. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

#### Akashic Psionics
At 6th level, you can access the noosphere to enhance the breadth of your psionic abilities. You learn two additional spells from the psion spell list of a level no greater than half your psion level (rounded up). These spells do not count against the maximum number of psion spells you can know, and can cast them using your Psionic Spellcasting feature.

Additionally, when you finish a short or long rest, you can choose to forget one or both of these spells and replace each with a different spell from the psion spell list, as long as their levels are no greater than half your psion level (rounded up).

#### Petition Noosphere 
At 10th level, you can petition the noosphere for an answer to a question. As an action, you mentally ask a question and send it to the boundaries of the web of concepts. If the answer to the question has been written, studied, or was common knowledge at some point in history, you mentally receive an answer to your question. Generally, the response is given to the question is as short as possible while being complete. If the source of the knowledge exists, but is cloaked in magic that prevents divination magic from affecting it, the noosphere can't give you any answers pertaining to it.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

#### Effortless Journey
Starting at 14th level, your mind can mystically move your body. On your turn, you can teleport up to 30 feet to a spot you can see. Each foot of this teleportation costs 1 foot of your movement.

You can compress your perception of time to overlap two instances of harm into one. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage to 0 and note the amount of damage you would have taken. If you take damage before the [time], you can choose to take the original amount of damage instead, or to take the second source of damage, but not both.

### Order of the Metamind
Mystics dedicated to the Order of the Metamind seek to impose their mental constructions onto the world, rather than ascending beyond its reach. They see little difference between what is, and what could be. Through this strange perception—and with great effort of will—these mighty psions replace one reality with the reality they choose to perceive.

The Metaminds are masters of making the imaginary tangible. They create creatures from the ectoplasmic linings of reality, manipulate the world around them with naught but their minds, and physically change their entire bodies to fit their needs.

#### Bonus Discipline
At 1st level, you learn one additional psionic discipline of your choice out of Metacreativity, Psychomorphy, and Telekinesis. This discipline doesn't count against the number of disciplines you know.

#### Barrier of Surreality
Also at 1st level, you have learned to partially separate yourself from reality as a means of protection. Your AC equals 13 + your Dexterity modifier.

As a bonus action, you can touch a creature and choose to forgo this benefit to grant it the same benefit. This lasts until you revoke the benefit from that creature using your bonus action.

#### Deny Harm
At 3rd level, you have learned to simply overwrite that which you do not care for. Whenever a creature that has your Barrier of Surreality is damaged, you can use your reaction to reduce that damage by 1d10 + your Intelligence modifier + your psion level. If this reduces the damage to 0, you can reflect that damage on the source of the damage.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

#### Rejuvenation
At 6th level, you know that your body and mind are made of the same energies, and can be used in conjunction. Immediately after you spend psi points on a psionic talent, you can take a bonus action to regain hit points equal to the number of psi points you spent.

#### Reset Psionic Discipline
At 10th level, you gain the ability to overwrite your own limits. You gain one of the following benefits based on the Bonus Discipline you chose at 1st level:

**Metacreativity.** Immediately before your figment is reduced to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to instead erase the figment and then immediately use Manifest Figment.

**Pyschomorphy.** As a bonus action, you can make two attacks with your Alter Form natural weapon.

**Telekinesis.** When you use Manipulate Object or Manipulate Creature, the distance or weight limit (your choice) of the psionic talent is doubled.

Once you use any of these features, you can't use them again until you finish a long rest.

#### Revise Reality
Starting at 14th level, you have learned to impose your own reality upon the universe, irreversibly changing the course of time and space. When a creature you can see rolls a d20, you can choose what number the result of the roll was. You can use this feature immediately after the DM describes the result of the roll.

You can use this feature twice. You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.

## Psionic Disciplines
Psionic disciplines are the core of a psion's craft. They are the culmination of countless hours of introspection and inspection of the world and its rules, and how to bend both with their psychic emanations. Disciplines are more than simple abilities, they are the culmination of ways of a psion thinks.

If a discipline states that it requires you maintain concentration, you use the same rules as you would when you are concentrating on a spell.

### Empathy
When you learn this discipline, you learn the following psionic talents:

**Implant Emotion.** If you spend at least 1 minute conversing with a humanoid, you can attempt to change its emotional state. At the end of the minute, you can use an action to force the creature to succeed on a Wisdom saving throw, or begin to outwardly express a certain emotion of your choice, at a target relevant to the conversation. The target has disadvantage on this saving throw if they had been secretly harboring this sentiment. The target expresses this emotion for 1 minute, or until you lose concentration on the effect, after which it doesn’t know why it acted out that way.

Once you use this feature on a creature, you can’t use it on that creature again until you finish a long rest.
	
**Empathic Connection.** As an action, you can force the creature to within 30 feet of you that you can see to make a Charisma saving throw, as you peer into its surface thoughts. If it fails, you learn a one or two word summary of the creature’s emotional state. Additionally, you can choose to flood its mind with conflicting, confusing information. If you do, it takes 1d8 psychic damage and it can’t take reactions until the end of its next turn.

#### Augment: Discombobulate
Before the target makes its saving throw, you can spend at least 2 psi points when you use Empathic Connection to attempt to completely scramble the target’s thoughts. If it fails its saving throw against the talent, it subtracts the amount of psi points you spent from all of its attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throw DCs, as well as any saving throws made to maintain concentration on a spell. This scrambling lasts until the end of its next turn.

#### Augment: Empathic Transfer
If you target a creature within 5 feet of you with your Empathic Connection, you can choose to spend psi points and make a melee spell attack instead of forcing the creature to make a saving throw, which the creature can choose to be hit by. On a hit, the talent deals its damage automatically, plus an additional d8 of damage equal to the amount of psi points you spent, as you rapidly transfer your wounds to your target. You regain hit points equal to the amount damage dealt. Alternatively, you can choose to take that much damage and heal the creature for the equivalent amount.

#### Augment: Seed Ideas
When you use your action as part of the Implant Emotion talent, you can spend psi points to augment its effects in the ways listed below. You can do more than one of these effects each time you use the talent, but you must spend psi points individually for each effect.
- You can spend 1 psi point to bypass the need for a conversation, and instead just force the creature to make the saving throw.
- You can spend 1 psi point to be able to use the feature on a creature that you've used it on already prior to a long rest. 
- You can spend psi points to extend the duration of the effect: 1 psi point extends it to 10 minutes, 2 psi points to 1 hour, 4 psi points to 8 hours, and 6 psi points for 24 hours.

- You can spend 2 psi points to cause the creature to become charmed by a creature of your choice. This effect ends early if the creature or one of its allies takes damage. 
- You can spend 2 psi points to cause the creature to become frightened of a creature of your choice. Whenever it ends its turn in a place where it can't see the object of its fear, it can repeat the saving throw, ending this effect on a success.

If you spend at least 5 psi points augmenting this talent, it can affect creatures of any type.

#### Augment: Implant Magic (remove?)
When you use your Implant Emotion talent while under the effects of a spell you cast, you can instead undergo a telepathic communion with a willing creature within 30 feet of you. When you use your action as part of this talent, you can spend a number of psi points equal to the level of the spell. The target creature must succeed on an Intelligence check (DC 10 + the level of the spell). On a success, you transfer the spell's effects to the target creature. If the spell requires concentration, they must concentrate on the effects of the spell and you no longer have to.

### Extemporality
When you learn this psionic discipline, you learn the following psionic talents:

**Induce Precognition.** Once on each turn, when you make an ability check or a saving throw using Dexterity or an attack roll, or a creature makes an attack roll against you, you can choose to conjure a vision of the future before the roll is made. You gain advantage on the roll, or impose disadvantage on the incoming attack, but take psychic damage equal to your hit die from the strain (if you have hit die of different sizes, use the largest one). This damage can’t be reduced in any way.

**Psychometric Archival.** Moments of great emotion, such as betrayals, marriages, and deaths, leave behind astral imprints in the areas in which they occur. By meditating over the course of a minute, you can attune yourself to any psychic imprint left in your immediate vicinity. You gain a vague recollection of the event, which is presented to you in the form of a shadowy vision. You don’t gain special knowledge of those involved in the vision, though you may be able to read banners and other forms of large text in the room at the time. This talent presents the most recent such event that happened in the area, and can’t present an event older than a number of years equal to your level in this class.

#### Augment: Extemporal Sheathing
When you use your Induce Precognition psionic talent, you can spend 1 psi point to not take any damage from the ability. If you do so when rolling initiative at the start of combat, you are considered immune to being surprised for that combat.

Additionally, when you spend a psi point on Induce Precognition, you regain the use of the feature for that turn.

#### Augment: Extrasensory Impressions
When you use your action as part of the Psychometric Archival psionic talent, you can spend psi points to augment its effects in the ways listed below. You can do more than one of these effects each time you use the talent, but you must spend psi points individually for each effect. This augment fails if the area had been the target of this augment before within the past 10 days.

- You can detect older events by spending psi points. For every psi point you spend this way, you can increase how old the event can be by an amount of years equal to your level in this class. 
- By spending 5 psi points, you become able to clearly discern the figures of the creatures in the vision with expressing the greatest amount of emotion. 
- By spending 3 psi points, you become able to discern the environment clearly, out to within 30 feet of the creatures the vision is focused on.
- By spending 2 or more psi points, you can detect the next most recent event in the given area. For every 2 psi points you spend this way beyond the first 2, you can detect the next most recent event beyond that.

#### Augment: Read Timeline
When you are make any ability check, attack roll, or saving throw, you can spend at least 1 psi points use your Induce Precognition on that roll, even if you otherwise wouldn't be able to affect that roll.

Additionally, when you use this augment, you can scan nearby timelines for alternate results. You can increase or decrease the result of your d20 by the amount of psi points you spend beyond the first 2. For example, if you roll a 15 on the d20 roll of Induce Precognition, and spend 7 points on this augment, you can treat the result of the d20 as a natural 20.

### Kinetics 
When you learn this discipline, you learn the following psionic talents:
	
**Inertial Barrier.** When a creature hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to manifest a barrier of stopping force, granting you a +2 bonus to your AC until the end of your next turn, potentially causing a the triggering attack to miss. This bonus acts like a shield’s bonus to your AC. When this barrier stops a projectile, it remains stuck in mid-air for as long as the barrier lasts.

**Accelerate/Decelerate.** When a creature moves within 15 feet of you, you can use your reaction to increase or decrease the creature’s speed by 10 feet until the end of their next turn. The creature can resist this effect by making and succeeding on a Charisma saving throw. You can use this effect to speed up or slow a creature in fall, resulting in the creature’s fall being treated as if it were longer or shorter by the same amount of feet.

#### Augment: Kinetic Buildup
When you use Accelerate/Decelerate, you can spend psi points to increase or decrease the number of feet the ability can affect. The number changes by 10 feet for each psi point spent.

If you reduce a creature’s speed to 0 using this feature, you can spend an additional 2 ki points to force them to make a Strength saving throw. On a failure, the creature is considered paralyzed until the start of your next turn.

#### Augment: Gravitation Bubble
When a weapon attack is made against a creature within 15 feet of you, or a projectile moves within 15 feet of you, you can use your reaction and spend psi points to speed it up or slow it down. On impact, the attack or projectile‘s damage increases or decreases by 1d6 (your choice), plus 1d6 for each psi point spent when you use this ability.

Alternatively, when a weapon attack misses a creature within this radius, you can use your reaction and spend 3 psi points to cause the attack to be rerolled against a creature of your choice in this radius.

#### Augment: Maintained Equilibrium
When you use your Inertial Barrier, you can choose to spend psi points in order to increase its AC bonus by the amount of psi points you spend, up to a total of a +5 bonus to your AC.

Additionally, while benefiting from your inertial barrier, you can use your bonus action and spend 1 psi point to extend its duration until the end of your next turn.

### Incalescence
When you learn this discipline, you learn the following psionic talents:

**Alter Heat.** As an action, you concentrate on a point you can see within 60 feet of you. That point gets so hot as to combust a 5-foot cube of wood, or so cold as to freeze a 5 cube of water. If the cube contains a creature, it must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, it takes 1d12 fire damage or 1d8 cold damage. If it takes cold damage this way, its speed is reduced by 10 feet. If the creature is at least half submerged in water water when it takes this cold damage and this effect covers at least half of its body, it must make a Strength saving throw or become grappled by the ice (AC 5, 10 hp, vulnerable to fire). It can use its action to make Strength saving throw, breaking the ice on a success.

**Aura of Regulation.** As an action, you can extend a 15-foot radius aura of perfectly moderate heat, which lasts until the end of your next turn or until you lose concentration. Creatures in the area are considered resistant to fire and cold damage.

#### Augment: Carve Temeperature
When you use your Alter Heat psionic talent, you can spend psi points to increase the area affected by the talent and to intensify the talent’s power. For every psi point you spend, it gains one damage die, and you can create an additional 5-foot cube. Each cube must have at least one face adjacent to the face of another cube. When you spend psi points on this talent, creatures take half the talent’s damage on a successful save.

#### Augment: Concentrated Energy
When you use your Alter Heat psionic talent, you can choose to spend at least two psi points to maintain the shift in heat  for 1 minute, or until you lose concentration. For every psi point you spend on this augment, the talent's initial damage goes up by one damage die. When you spend psi points on this talent, creatures take half the talent’s damage on a successful save.

If you target a point on a creature, and that creature fails its initial saving throw, it must make a Constitution saving throw at the end of each of its turns for the duration. On a failure, it suffers the effects of Alter Heat again, using half as many damage die as the initial damage roll (minimum of 1 damage die). This effect ends early if the creature succeeds on its saving throw.

If you target an area using the Carve Temperature augment, the area physically warps to show the difference in temperature. The talent uses half as many damage die when you use this option (minimum of 1 damage die). Any creature who ends its turn in the area for the duration, or enters the area for the first time on a turn, must make a Constitution save throw or suffer the effects of Alter Heat again, using the same amount of damage die as the initial damage roll.

#### Augment: Shift Regulation
When you use your Aura of Regulation psionic talent, you can spend psi points to regulate hot or cold temperatures specifically. If you choose hot temperatures, all creatures in the area are resistant to cold damage and take an additional fire damage the first time they take fire damage on a turn. If you choose cold temperatures, all creatures in the area have resistance to fire damage and take an additional cold damage the first time they take cold damage on a turn. This additional damage is a number of d6 equal to half the amount of psi points spent (minimum 1d6).

Additionally, each psi point you spend can increase the duration of aura: 2 psi points extends it to 10 minutes, 3 psi points to 1 hour, 5 psi points to 8 hours, and 7 psi points for 24 hours.

### Metacreativity
When you learn this psionic discipline, you learn the following psionic talents:

**Manifest Figment.** You can spend at 1 minute creating the visage of an imaginary being woven from the midst of the astral plane. At the end of the minute, you can use an action to realize the figment of your imagination in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you. The figment obeys your commands as best as it can, but is a creature of its own, with its own desires and appearance designated by you. However, regardless of its form, it is clearly recognizable as not of this world. You can't realize a figment while you already have one realized. It takes its turn on your initiative. The figment disappears in a puff of colored smoke after you finish a short or long rest, or if it's reduced to 0 hit points. If your figment is reduced to 0 hit points, you take psychic damage equal to its maximum hit points. This psychic damage can’t be reduced in any way.

On your turn, you can mentally command it where to move (no action required by you). When you manifest your psionic talent, you can use your action to mentally command it to take the Attack, Dash, Disengage, or Help action, or to see through its eyes and hear what it hears until the start of your next turn. If you don't issue a command, the figment takes the Dodge action.

**Astral Reconstruction.** Over the course of 1 minute, you concentrate on an area you can see within 30 feet of you which contains the entirety of a broken or deteriorated object. The area is a 5-foot cube. At the end of the minute, you use your action to pull together memories of the object from the astral realm, and force the world to recreate its original form.  If the object or structure is missing a portion of its form outright, this effect still mends it, but only if the missing portions are within 30 feet of the cube. This spell can physically repair a magic item or construct, but can’t restore magic to such an object.

#### Augment: Widened Imagination
When you cast a spell using your Psionic Spellcasting feature or manifest a psionic talent, you can command your figment to cast the spell or manifest the talent instead. The figment casts the spell or manifests the power in your place, using your statistics where necessary. Both you and the figment must maintain concentration on a spell cast this way. If either of you lose concentration, the spell or talent ends.

#### Augment: Dreamscaping
As an action, you can spend psi points to alter the form of your figment in the ways listed below. You can do more than one of these effects each time you use the talent, but you must spend psi points individually for each effect. For each psi point spent this way, the figment gains 5 temporary hit points, which last 1 hour. These hit points represent the psychic energy that is sustaining this enhanced form. As such, the figment loses these benefits when it runs out of these temporary hit points.
- You can spend 1 psi point to increase your figment’s size to Medium, 3 points to increase it to Large, or 5 points to increase it to Huge.
- You can spend psi points to increase the damage dealt by your figment’s Assault and Harry actions. Their damage increases by one damage die for every two points spent on this benefit. 
- You can spend psi points to increase your figment’s speed. It increases by 5 feet for each psi point you spend this way.

#### Augment: Recorporate
When you use your action as part of the Astral Reconstruction psionic talent, you can spend at least two psi points to potentially increase the size of the cube. The size of the cube becomes up to 10 feet, plus 5 feet for every additional psi point you spend beyond the first two.

Additionally, constructs in the area regain hit points equal to your psionic ability modifier plus a number of d6 equal the number of psi points you spent.

### Psychomorphy
When you learn this psionic discipline, you learn the following psionic talents:

**Metabolic Override.**  By meditating over the course of a minute, you can force your wounds to scab over, direct pain away or otherwise alter your metabolism to prepare your body for trauma. At the end of the minute, you can use your action to gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus + half your psion level (rounded up).

**Alter Form.** As an action, you can alter your appearance into something strange and otherworldly for one hour, or until you use your action to revert it. You can make minor cosmetic adjustments such as changing your hair color, eye color, growing or shrinking up to a foot in height, or similar, but a creature familiar with you can discern your identity by looking at your face.

As part of this transformation, you can grant yourself a melee natural weapon. If you use your action to manifest this talent while you already this natural weapon, you can attack with it instead. You can use your Strength, Dexterity or your psionic ability modifier modifier for the attack and damage rolls of this finesse natural weapon. The damage die of this natural weapon is a d6, or a d10 if you are using Strength. Attacking a creature with the weapon makes the creature unable to take reactions until the end of the turn.

#### Augment: Adaptive Metabolism
When you use your Metabolic Override psionic talent, you can spend at least 2 psi points to adjust your body to coming trials. You can choose one of the following benefits  based on the amount of psi points you spent, which last until you use Metabolic Override again, or until 1 hour passes. 
* If you spend at least 2 psi points, you can replace your proficiency in Wisdom, Constitution, or Dexterity saving throws with proficiency in another saving throw you are not already proficient in.
* If you spend at least 3 psi points, you are immune to the poisoned condition. Additionally, you are satiated as if you had just ate and drank your fill. 
* If you spend at least 5 psi points, you gain resistance to acid, cold, lightning or thunder damage. You must concentrate on this augment to maintain this benefit.

#### Augment: Bestial Alterations
When you use your Alter Form psionic talent, you can spend psi points to alter your body in order to enhance your physical capabilities in some of the ways listed below for its duration. You can do more than one of these effects each time you use the talent, but you must spend psi points individually for each effect. When you use this augment, you must concentrate on the talent.
* You can spend 2 psi points to gain a swim speed equal to your land speed, and can breathe underwater.
* You can spend 2 psi points to triple your jump distance and gain a climb speed equal to your land speed. 
* You can spend 2 psi points and pick smell, sight, or hearing. You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on that sense. 
* You can spend 5 psi points to gain a flying speed equal to your land speed.

#### Augment: Corrosive Vitals
When you use your Metabolic Override psionic talent, you can spend at least 2 psi points to turn your blood into something caustic. The amount of temporary hit points you gain from this talent increases by 3, plus an additional 3 for each psi point you spend on this talent beyond the first two.

While you have these temporary hit points, you have resistance to acid and poison damage, and whenever you take damage from a melee attack, your attacker takes damage equal to the amount of temporary hit points you had before the attack.

#### Augment: Living Weapon
When you use your Alter Form psionic talent, you can spend psi points to augment the natural weapon it creates. You can do more than one of these effects each time you use the talent, but you must spend psi points individually for each effect. 
- You can spend 1 psi point to give your natural weapon the reach property. You can use this weapon to attempt shove attacks. You can use your spell attack modifier in place of your bonus to Athletics for shoving contests made this way.
- You can spend 1 psi point to make your natural weapon can grapple creatures. When you hit a creature with this natural weapon, you can use your bonus action to make a grapple attempt against them. You can use your spell attack modifier in place of your bonus to Athletics for grappling contests made this way. This grapple ends if you attack a different creature with this weapon. 
- You can spend 3 psi points to allow your natural weapon to ranged attacks at a range of 20/60. 
- You can spend 3 or more psi points turn this natural weapon into a magical weapon with a bonus to attack and damage rolls. This bonus equals half the amount of psi points you spend on this option.

#### Augment: Malleable Form
When you use your Alter Form psionic talent,  you can spend psi points to drastically change your appearance or the properties of your body in one of the ways listed below for its duration.  You can do more than one of these effects each time you use the talent, but you must spend psi points individually for each effect. When you use this augment, you must concentrate on the talent.
* You can spend 2 psi points to gain advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks. 
* You can spend 3 psi points to benefit from the Change Appearance effect of the *alter self* spell.
* You can spend 3 psi points to benefit from the effects of the *enlarge/reduce* spell. 
* You can spend 5 points to become partially amorphous, which makes you able to squeeze into spaces as small as 1-inch wide.

### Psychoportation
By using your mind to contract two points of existence, you can seem to move instantaneously. When you learn this discipline, you learn the following psionic talents:

**Transpose Self.** As an action, you can teleport to an unoccupied space within 20 feet of you that you can see and does not have full cover from you.

**Transpose Object.** As an action, you teleport a Medium object you are touching to an unoccupied space you can see within 30 feet of you.

If the object is being carried or held (but not worn), you must first succeed on a melee spell attack against the creature. Then, the creature carrying the item must fail a Charisma saving throw.

#### Augment: Versatile Teleportation
When you use either of this discipline’s psionic talents, you can expend psi points to increase the distance you can teleport something by 10 feet for each psi point you expend.

Additionally, when you use Transpose Self to teleport yourself, you can spend 2 psi points to instead manifest the talent as a bonus action. At the end of your turn, you must spend 1 psi point or you return to the spot you teleported from.

#### Augment: Extended Transposition
When you use your Transpose Object psionic talent, you can spend psi points in order to be able to affect any object you can see within a number of feet of you equal to ten times the number of psi points you spend.

Additionally, when you use your Transport Self psionic talent, you can spend psi points to instead teleport a willing creature within a number of feet of you equal to ten times the number of psi points you spend.

#### Augment: Dimensional Swap
When you use your Transpose Self psionic talent, you can spend 2 psi points to choose to teleport to a space occupied by a creature instead. You and the creature swap places. If there is not enough room for the creature, the teleportation fails. The creature can resist this effect by succeeding on a Charisma saving throw.

### Telekinesis
This discipline focuses on moving and manipulating the physical world with only your mind. You learn the following psionic talents:

**Manipulate Object.** You can use your action to cause an object that isn't being worn or carried to move up to 30 feet in a direction of your choice (maximum weight of a number of pounds equal to 10 times your level in this class). If a creature is in the way of the object, it must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, the object stops and the creature takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage. On a success, the object keeps moving If the object ends its turn in the air, you can choose to maintain concentration on this discipline to cause it to not fall until the end of your next turn.

**Manipulate Creature.** You can use your action to force a creature within 30 feet of you to make a Strength saving throw. On a failure, you can choose to impose one of the following effects on the target:
- You move the creature 10 feet in a direction of your choice.
- The creature is grappled until the start of your next turn. Additionally, you can choose to deal 1d6 bludgeoning damage to the creature.

#### Augment: Enhanced Object Manipulation
When you use the Manipulate Object psionic talent you can expend psi points to increase the number of objects you cause to move and the maximum weight of a single object. You can do more than one of these effects each time you use the talent, but you must spend psi points individually for each effect. 
- You can increase the number of objects you move this way by one for each psi point you spend on this benefit. 
- You can increase the maximum weight you can affect for a single object you are moving by spending psi points on this benefit. The maximum weight doubles for each psi point you spend and damage dealt by the impact of the object increases by 1d8 for each psi point spent.

#### Augment: Precision Control
When you use your Manipulate Object psionic talent, you can exercise precise control over the object, as if you were using your own hands. If a manipulation would require a Sleight of Hand check, you can add your psionic ability modifier to the result. You can move the object along any path you wish, as long as the total distance the object moves remains the same.

Additionally, when you use Manipulate Object on a weapon you are proficient with, you can spend 2 psi points to instead cause the weapon to float in your space for the next minute, or until you lose concentration. While manipulating the weapon in this way, you can attack with the weapon as if you were wielding it (using two hands when possible). If the weapon is melee, you can use it to make melee weapon attacks against creatures within 30 feet of you. If the weapon is ranged, it ignores half cover. When you attack with this weapon, you can use your psionic ability modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity modifier, for the attack and damage rolls.

#### Augment: Psychic Grip
When you use your Manipulate Creature psionic talent, you can spend psi points to increase its effectiveness:
If you choose to push a creature, the distance the creature can be pushed increases by 15 feet per psi point you spend.
If you choose to grapple the creature, you increase the damage by 1d6 for each psi point spent. If you spend at least two psi points, the target is restrained as well.

### Telepathy
When you learn this discipline, you learn the following psionic talents:

**Telepathy.** You can communicate telepathically with any creature you can see within 30 feet of you. You don't need to share a language with the creature for it to understand your telepathic utterances, but the creature must be able to understand at least one language. If you already have the ability to communicate this way, it’s range increases by 30 feet.

**Read Intent.** As an action, you can focus your mind on the psyche of one creature within range of your telepathy. The creature must make an Intelligence saving throw. On a failure,  you gain an intent die (a d6) that lasts for one minute, until you use this action again, or until you add it to a roll. When that creature hits you, you can add your intent die to your AC for that attack. You can add this die to a check or saving throw made against that creature or an effect that creature created. The target is unaware of your attempt to pierce its mind, unless its saving throw exceeds your DC by 10 or more.

#### Augment: Read Mind
When a creature fails its saving throw against your Read Intent feature, you can spend 1 psi point to replicate the effects of detect thoughts. When manifested this way, detect thoughts can only target that creature and you can immediately attempt to probe deeper into the creature’s mind. You can target that creature this way as long as it is within your telepathy range.

#### Augment: Expand Mind
You can use your bonus action and spend psi points to increase the range and power of your telepathy. Until the end of your next turn, the range of your telepathy doubles for each psi point you spend this way. For the duration, you can sense the location of each creature within range that has at least 4 Intelligence. This sense is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt. Targets hidden from divination magic are hidden from this effect.

Additionally, while benefiting from this augmentation, you can use your bonus action and spend 1 psi point to extend its duration until the end of your next turn.

#### Augment: Exploit Psyche
You can use your knowledge of a creature’s inner mind to make them more vulnerable to your psionic intrusions. When a creature for which you have an intent die succeeds on an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma saving throw against one of your psionic spells, you can spend your intent die and a number of psi points equal to the spell’s level to subtract the result your intent die from the target’s saving throw.

As an action, you can enter the brain of a creature you are within 5 feet of that has an Intelligence score of at least 4 for up to an hour. You completely disappear, as you and your equipment enter become thoughts in the creature's brain. While in this state, you perceive everything the host creature perceives, and are completely aware of the creature's surface thoughts.

The only things you can do while within the creature's brain are communicate with your Telepathy feature, use your action to leave the creature's mind, or use your action and spend  psi points to cast *command* or *suggestion* on the creature as if they were psion spells for you.

Unless the creature witnessed you enter its mind, hears you telepathically communicate with it, or you cast *command* on it, it has no knowledge you are there. An aware creature can use its action on each of its turns to make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC, expelling you on a success.

Whether you voluntarily leave a creature's body, or are expelled, you emerge in an unoccupied space of your choice within 10 feet of the creature. When exiting a creature voluntarily (including when you leave due to transporting), you can choose to leave violently, bursting forth from the creatures body. The creature whose body you are exiting must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they take 10d6 psychic damage, or half as much on a success.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
