## The Cheshire Cat ### The Cheshire Cat is an ancient archfey from a time before history, a spirit who guides travelers through the Twisted Woods. Taking the form of a large cat with piercing yellow eyes, a dark blue and purple body, and a large white grin with many teeth. They have powers of teleportation, illusion, vaporization, and the ability to guide people through the insanity of Wonderland. They act as a beacon in the fallen kingdom of the dearly departed Queen of Spades. Though many other inhabitants live there, the Twisted Woods is their domain. Warlocks of the Cheshire Cat are often affected by the time that they have spent in Wonderland, having nervous ticks and spells that compliment insanity. Those who make a deal with the Cheshire Cat often have cat eyes, patches of fur, mist in their hair, or stripes on their skin. They are often people who are tricky, but care about the wellbeing of others, being a guiding force for the Cheshire Cat. ### Expanded Spell List The Cheshire Cat lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. Here are new options for that feature, in addition to the options in the Player's Handbook. If an eldritch invocation has a prerequisite, you must meet it to learn the invocation. You can learn the invocation at the same time that you meet its prerequisite. A level prerequisite refers to your level in this class. ### Wiley Smile *Prerequisite: Cheshire Cat Patron, Pact of the Chain Feature* As an action on your familiar's turn, they may show the smile of the Cheshire Cat to one creature who can see within 60 feet of them. The creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Spell Save DC or be charmed by your familiar. While charmed in this way, the creature can only use its action to Dash towards the familiar and stand there. This effect lasts until 1 minute elapses, the creature succeeds on the saving throw, the familiar is dispelled or destroyed, or someone deals damage to the charmed individual. Once you have used this feature, you may not use it again until you complete a long rest. ### Pages of Insanity *Prerequisite: Cheshire Cat Patron, Pact of the Tome Feature* Once per short or long rest, when you cast a spell, you may have your target roll a Wisdom saving throw against your Spell Save DC. On a failure, they gain one Short-Term Madness for 1d10 minutes. ### Cheshire's Fighter *Prerequisite: Cheshire Cat Patron, Pact of the Blade Feature* Your unarmed strike deals 1d6 + your Charisma modifier slashing damage. These attacks count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistance and immunity.
