When you select this archetype at 3rd level, you gain the ability to inspire the bones of a corpse to act by your command. If a beast or a humanoid that is Small or Medium dies within 10 feet of you, you can use your reaction to animate the bones, causing them to tear out of the corpse and stand up immediately with 1 hit point. The creature uses the Skeleton stat block in the Monster Manual. It remains animate for 1 minute, after which time it collapses and dies. Alternately, you may use Dance, Bones, Dance! as an action if there are extant corpses. In combat, the Skeleton's turn comes immediately after yours. It obeys your mental commands, and the only action it can take is the Attack action, making one melee attack. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest. #### Dirge Additionally, at 3rd level, you can use your bardic inspiration to grant your allies a measure of security in dark times. As a Bonus action, roll a bardic inspiration die - you and all allies you can see within 30 feet gain a bonus to wisdom saves against *fear* effects equal to the number rolled. Additionally, undead allies gain a bonus to armor class and damage rolls equal to the roll. This bonus lasts until the end of your next turn. #### Resilient Servants At 6th level, Skeletons raised by your Dance, Bones, Dance! Feature or by way of spells you cast gain resistance to all damage, and temporary HP equal to half your bard class level. When a skeleton you control hits a target with a melee attack, they deal additional necrotic damage equal to your bardic inspiration die size. #### Court of Bones At 14th level, you can raise two skeletons every time you use Dance, Bones, Dance! *Even if there is only one corpse*. Additionally, the skeletons gain a bonus to attack rolls and saving throws equal to your proficiency modifier. ##### Author Info ___ Bonesinger by Dave Thompson (Alchahest)
