Blacksmith

The pursue of the perfect weapon is what some would call noble, and what others would call foolhardy. With each beat of the hammer on the anvil, Blacksmiths continue to create what in their minds is perfection on the battlefield. Wanting to emulate the god of smithing himself, Hephaestus, Blacksmiths forge on, creating weapon after armor after weapon, striving to create their magnum opus.

Tool Proficiency

When you choose this specialty at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with heavy armor, smith's tools, and either mason’s tools or tinker’s tools.

Blacksmith Spells

Starting at 3rd level, you always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Blacksmith Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don't count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

Tiny Golem

Metal Worker

Starting at 3rd level, with 2 pounds of metal, you can create one Tiny golem, up to a maximum of 5 for every long rest. You can command the Golem with simple instructions. They lose their sentience after 24 hours of creation, and must be re-smelted before used again for golems.

Forger of Men

Adept Smith

At 5th level, you can now make Uncommon light armor, medium armor, simple weapons, and martial weapons. It requires a workshop (at minimum it would be an anvil, a hearth, and smith’s tools). To work on it, you first roll a d20 and add your Arcana bonus and proficiency (DC is 20), and on a success, roll a percentile die and you accomplish that percent of work on it. You can only continue work after a long rest. To create it you must also have the necessary materials of equal value to it (materials needed at DM discretion), as well as be familiar with it.

Metal Laborer

Starting at 9th level, with 20 pounds of metal you can make one Small golem. You can only create another after a long rest. You can command the Golem with simple instructions. They lose their sentience after 12 hours of creation, and must be re-smelted before used again for golems.

Also at 9th level, you gain resistance to fire damage.

Also at 15th level, you gain immunity to fire damage.
