\pagebreakNum # Part 1: What is Crafting?
Crafting is the activity or hobby of making items by hand. Crafting may be an enjoyable pastime, but it can also be used as a means of income. This is because it is often much cheaper to craft your own items than it is to buy them from vendors.
Better yet, crafting can be invaluable for making useful items while on an adventure. Remember, the farther you venture into the unexplored parts of the world the less likely you are to come across Pokémarts.
### Pokéblocks ___ To prepare for Pokemon Contests, you will need to feed your Pokemon Pokéblocks. Pokéblocks are created by mixing certain color Berries together in the Pokéblock Kit. ___ Pokéblocks will increase a Pokemon's Beauty, Cleverness, Coolness, Cuteness, or Toughness depending on the color and types of Berries used. It has been recently discovered that Pokéblocks may even aid in combat. #### Pokéblock Kit ___ The Pokéblock kit contains a blender to mix the berries and a Pokéblock case that is used to store Pokéblocks. #### Crafting Pokéblocks ___ The blender can mix up to five berries to make a single Pokéblock. Each attempt to craft a Pokéblock will require a DC WIS check. The more potent the Pokéblock mixture is, the more difficult the check will be. ___ #### Effects and Guidelines Pokémon can only receive the effect of one Pokéblock per day. \columnbreak
### Apricorns ___ Apricorn crafting allows you to make your own Pokéballs and specialty balls. You need an Apricorn Kit to make these items. If you are proficient with an Apricorn Kit you can add your proficiency modifier to these crafting rolls. #### Apricorn Kit ___ The apricorn kit contains a mallet, chisel, and apricorn box that is used to store apricorn parts. #### Shells and Casings ___ The first step to turning your apricorn into a Pokéball is breaking the shell into two parts. Casings, however, cannot be crafted, but are integral to building Pokéballs. Casings are cheap, but useless on their own. They can be purchased at most Pokémarts. #### Crafting Apricorns ___
