Guloin
Guloin are an extremely brutal and strong, albeit quite small, species that bear a resemblance to wolverines. They are mean, brutal scavengers who take what they want and don't fear anything. They make their homes in networks of caves beneath arctic landscapes, and defend them fiercely.
Goblinoid
Guloin are most closely related to goblins, and share some of their personality. Just like goblins, they are usually raiders and thieves, surviving by taking from others. This relation and occasional cooperation has led to many guloin being able to speak Goblin.
Guloin Traits
As a guloin, you gain the following traits.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2 and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Age. Guloin don't live very long, reaching maturity around ten years old and living around fifty.
Alignment. The mean, scavenger civilization of the gulion tends them towards chaos and evil.
Size. Gulion are around three feet tall and weigh an average of fifty pounds. Your size is small.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Furry. Your body is covered in fur built for cold regions. Your are acclimated to regions of extreme cold.
Menacing. You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill.
Scavenger. You have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks made to find food in desolate areas, such as deserts or tundras.
Keen Senses. You gain proficiency in the Survival and Perception skills.
Ferocity. When you damage a creature with an attack or a spell and the creature’s size is larger than yours, you can cause the attack or spell to deal extra damage to the creature. The extra damage equals your level. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Goblin.

Oreamnos
Oreamnos are a race of goat-like humanoids who live in mountainous regions. They are huge, stocky creatures with large, curving horns. Despite this, they are very gentle and stoic sages, and are known for their wisdom.
Mountainous Sages
Those who wander in the mountains are likely to eventually stumble across an oreamnos monastery or library. The beings within will usually welcome the stranger into their dwellings and treat them like one of their own. When the stranger is ready to leave, an oreamnos will travel with them to ensure they make it out of the mountains safely.
Resisting Demonic Influence
Oreamnos are very similar to minotaurs, and also feel the influence of the demon lord Baphomet. Most oreamnos resist his influence and are calm and stoic. However, those who fail to resist the influence of Baphomet are slavering beasts, slaughtering anything in their path.
Oreamnos Traits
As an oreamnos, you gain the following traits.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength, Constitution, and Wisdom scores increase by 1.
Age. Oreamnos live quite long, maturing in their mid-twenties and living an average of two centuries.
Alignment. The gentleness of the oreamnos tends them towards law and good.
Size. Oreamnos stand between seven and eight feet tall and weigh an average of three hundred pounds. Your size is medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet and you have a climbing speed of 30 feet.
Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, and lift.
Icy Sages. You gain proficiency in the Nature skill and have advantage on checks made to recall information about icy regions and their inhabitants.
Mountainborn. You are acclimated to extreme cold and ignore nonmagical difficult terrain made of ice, snow, or stone.
Horns. Your head has two large horns which can be used as natural weapons. They deal 1d4 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Giant, and one language of your choice.
Demonic Oreamnos
Demonic oreamnos are those that fail to resist the influence of Baphomet. They are much stronger than other oreamnos, but have no form of gentleness. They are brutal, barbaric, and have a complete lack of empathy.
Demonic Oreamnos Traits
As a demonic oreamnos, the following traits replace your Ability Score Increase and your Icy Sages trait.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2 and your Constitution score increases by 1.
Brutal Horns. The damage of your horns increases to 1d6.
Savage Attacks. When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you can roll one of the weapon’s damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.
Abyssal Influence. You can speak, read, and write Abyssal rather than a language of your choice.
Detect Balance
If Detect Balance scores matter to you, this race scored a 25. The demonic variant scored a 25 as well.
Variants and Subraces
Mammothine Loxodon
There are tales of mammoth men from the far north, enormous juggernauts with woolly hides and long, curving tusks. These are mammothine, a relative of the loxodon. While these giants lack their smaller cousins' serenity, they are far stronger and tougher.
Mammothine Loxodon Traits
As a mammothine loxodon, the following traits replace your Ability Score Increase and your Loxodon Serenity trait.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2 and your Constitution score increases by 1.
Tusks. Your tusks are a natural weapon which deal 1d4 + your Strength modifier piercing damage.
Woolly Hide. Your hide is covered in thick, insulating fur. You gain resistance to cold damage.
Thick Skin. Your skin is particularly thick and tough. Your natural armor increases to 13 + your Constitution modifier.
Snow Elf
Snow elves are a variety of elves that live in icy palaces atop mountains. They are renowned stargazers and prophets, and are known for their wisdom.
Snow Elf Traits
As a snow elf, you gain the following traits.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Stargazer. You have spent your life studying the stars. If you can see the night sky, you can cast the augury spell without expending a spell slot or material components.
You can use this feature three times, and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Eye for Detail. You gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Investigation) checks made to discern the details of unmoving objects.
Half-Elf Variant:Snow & Rock Elves
If your half-elf character is descended from a snow elf, you gain the snow elf's Stargazer trait rather than Skill Versatility. If your half-elf character is descended from a rock elf, you gain the rock elf's Powerful Build and Rock Climber traits rather than Skill Versatility.
Rock Elf
Rock elves are noticeably stockier than most elves, due to their hard lives in caves and mountains. They are survivalists, and some believe that they have traces of dwarven blood.

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 1.
Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, and lift.
Rock Climber. You have a climbing speed of 30 feet.
Resilient. You have advantage on saving throws against disease.
Sabre-Toothed Tabaxi
Tabaxi are known for being extremely curious, but this usually isn't the case for their northern cousins. Sabre-toothed tabaxi are less curious adventurers and more rugged survivalists. They are lonesome and stoic, only interacting with other creatures when necessary.

As a sabre-toothed tabaxi, the following traits replace your Ability Score Increase and your Cat's Talent trait.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength, Dexterity, and Wisdom scores increase by 1.
Razor Claws. The damage of your claws increases to 1d6.
Survivalist. You gain proficiency in the Survival skill.
Alcetaur
Alcetaurs are similar to centaurs, with one notable difference. While centaurs have the bodies of horses, alcetaurs have the bodies of moose or caribou. They are less personable than centaurs, but are far tougher.

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 1 and your Constitution score increases by 2.
Stomp. The damage of your hooves increases to 1d6 and the damage type changes to bludgeoning.
