The gods of Ar'Arkaedon are numerous and active. While some of them seem to be almost non-existant in the realm, they are still worshipped by some. The gods vary in power and generally differ to the more powerful one during domain disputes. Fights among the gods are generally terrifying, unless done so through a champion.

Alairos, Lord of the Sky
Bird King of Flight, Wind God

Alairos (uh-lay-rohs) is the Chaotic God of Tempest, and Trickery. Alairos is the god of flight, and winds and freedom. He is the creator of the sky. He believes that true living means true freedom. He teaches that going where the wind takes you and doing what makes you happy is the only way to truly be able to say you are alive. He is not a fan of rules or laws outside the basic morals he believes everyone is born with. Alairos also teaches that if one isn't moving forward, they might as well be dead. To stay in the same place, the same state of mind, is to let complacency and mundane thoughts take over your body and mind until you are no longer living.
Depiction. Alairos looks like a tall humanoid white hawk with brown tipped feathers. (Aarakocran) He wears loose blue robes, and wields a large bow that fires massive arrows.

Divine Relationships
Alairos is the son of Solteaus and Ellunae, brother to Durathor and Kraeliise. The rest of the gods tend to leave him to his own games and methods. His unpredictability and nomadic mentality often mean he also leaves them alone.
Worshiping God
Nomads, Aarakocra, Kenku, those seeking true freedom, and other bird folk are common worshipers of Alairos. His temples are large towers reaching into the sky, often topped with a windmill. Those who spend their time in these places of worship often end up wielding the signature collapsible glider-staves of his order.
Camlin Vadaeus, Bard King

Camlin Vadaeus (cam-lin-vuh-dey-us) is the Chaotic God of Knowledge, Trickery, and Arcana. Camlin Vadaeus is a unique god. He believes in the power of music, stories, and performance. He is fond of charismatic conversationalists and negotiations. He likes games and illusions, and enjoys dealing with mortals. When dealing with the mortal world he often acts as muse, critic, or source of knowledge to artists, musicians, and adventurers alike. He likes to appear as a mysterious figure when dealing with mortals, often going by an alias or pretending to be a mere bard.
Depiction. He looks like a handsome man, in his mid 20s. Short platinum hair, purple eyes, and ivory skin. He wears bright colored clothing, fancy and practical and long coats. His hats are always fantastic, often with a feather.

Divine Relationships
Camlin Vadaeus is all but ignored by most the other gods. The Wanderer looks upon him like a funny nephew of sorts, and Rajaerna and him have a sort of muse alliance.
Worshiping God
Mostly worshiped by those who practice the arts that are under his domain. Bards and adventurers are fond of him, and adventurers often look up to him. Worship of him usually takes place at an alter, near places of music, or stories.
Chronaeus the Chronicler
Keeper of Time & Knowledge

Chronaeus (crow-nay-us) is the Nuetral god of Time, Knowledge, and to a lesser degree Life. Chronaeus believes in letting time run it's course. The grains of sand fall where they may. To Chronaeus the flow of time is a journey and the knowledge gained is what makes it worthwhile. Chronaeus is also a firm believer that knowledge is precious. He sees it as the most important thing that is created. Knowledge lost to time is espeicially coveted by him and is one of the few reasons he tends to intervene. Chronaeus also believes that time can heal all things. Chronaeus seems to act more as an observer, chronicling events and knowledge. If he does intervene he generally tries to do so with a hint or by granting knowledge.
Depiction. Chronaeus appears as a the same human looking man each time, however he seems to jump around in age. Sometimes he will be a wizened gray haired man with a long bearc, others he's a middle aged scholar, on rare occasion he will appear as a teenager or even a child. More often than not he appears as an old wizard looking man, long white hair, long white beard, brown robes, with various watches and hourglasses hanging from his belt. His staff has an oval at one end with an hourglass magically suspended in in. It seems to flip and change randomly.

Divine Relationships
All other gods and deities from Ar'Arkaedon respect Chronaeus to a degree. Some may not necesarily fear him or revere him, but all respect his domain and none really want to test his powers. Only The Wanderer seems to understand him, and Chronaeus looks at him like an anomaly that he cannot explain, often saying he cannot remember a time that The Wanderer did not exist. The only god that holds sway over him in the slightest however, is The Shepherd. In the end death will even consume time itself.
Worshiping Chronaeus
Chronaeus has no churches per-say however, worshippers of Chronaeus tend to put up shrines to him inside of large clock filled libraries. This had lead his followers to be called Librarians of Chronaeus.
Daenoct Bringer of Death
Ruthless Reveller in Battle & Blood

Daenoct (day-nok-t) is the Chaotic Evil god of War and Death and a bringer of Blood. He believes that only through ruthlessness and strength can one be judged. Battles are fought simply for the carnage in his eye. He revels in death and blood. He has been known to kill his followers as a reward for summoning him.
Depiction. Daenoct appears as corrupted twisted bloodstained dark armor filled with shadows. Often wielding a large serrated two handed sword.
Symbol. A Red Serrated Sword pointing down dripping Blood.
Divine Relationships
The other gods find Daenoct fearsome and disturbing. His ruthless lust for carnage makes him feared, and his presence alone has causes lesser deities to run in fear. Kaelyrn is often found on the opposite side of the battles as he, keeping this hulking monster at bay.

Daenoct is worshiped in secret at blood alters by those who wish for power over war or death.
The Darkness, Source of all Evil
The True Evil, The Black Void

The Darkness (the dahrk-nis) is the Evil God of Death, Twilight, and the Grave. The Darkness is less of a who and more of a what. A blacker than black on the age of space. The source of all evil, and corruption. The Darkness sits and silence, ever vigilant, ever watching. The Darkness believes that at the end of all reality it will consume everything. There are those that agree and are terrified of the concept of an eternal blackness. The Darkness very rarely ever appears to someone, it would rather pull at the edges of the mind, tempt with dark thoughts and choices.
Depiction. If the Darkness does appear to someone it appears often as a shadowy dark version of the one it is appearing to. Speaking in a raspy, dark voice.

Divine Relationships
While almost all other deities know of The Darkness most understand it is too powerful for them to interact with. It's only real equal is The Light. Other deities either use it as an ally or are ever vigilant against it's effects.
Worshiping The Darkness
There are very few who worship The Darkness, most of them being demons, other deities, or powerful beings at one with evil. One who worships The Darkness tends to have a small shrine hidden in their home.
Durathor, Shaper of the Earth

Durathor (doo-rah-thohr) is the Good God of Nature, Forge, and Tempest domains. He believes that shaping stone and minerals is an art and that the earth and stones teach us patience and sturdiness. Durathor is the one who shapes the earth, and maintains the mountains. It is said he uses a mighty hammer to shape the ground. He is one of the first gods outside of the ancient seven to appear, and he helped create Ar'Arkaedon along with his sister Kraeliise.
Depiction. Durathor is often depicted as a giant, made of stone, wielding a large hammer. When he appears to mortals he usually does so as an 9 foot tall cyclopse, with a smith apron, hammer dangling at his side, Muscular build, and dark brown hair. He speaks slow, and steady.

Divine Relationships
Durathor is the son of Soltaeus. His sister is Kraeliise, brother is Alairos, and his mother is Ellunae. Almost all the deities simply leave him alone. They just let him go about his business shaping the lands.
Worshiping God
Worshippers of Durathor tend to have mineral shrines to him. Churches dedicated to him look more like rock museums than a place of worship, and generally those who attend spend the time praying and carving minerals.
Ellunae, Moon Mother
Moon Keeper, Giver of Guidance

Ellunae (el-loo-nay) is the Lawful Good Goddess of Light, Twilight, and Knowledge. The goddess of the moons, Ellunae beleives in the waxing and waning of life. Change is good, as long as its steady and natural. She also believes in guiding those that are lost, providing knowledge or a light in dark places. She often appears to those in need of help, weather they need guidance or help with a big change, or even just information that would prevent something bad from happening. Just as Ar'Arkaedon has three moons, she has three types of guidance she offers peoeple. It is often knowledge, change, or self reflection. She was one of the first gods to appear. Helping create Ar'Arkaedon.
Depiction. She often appears as a pale elvish woman with silver hair and white almost glowing eyes. She is often clad in pale white-blue robes with 3 jewels dangling on her forhead. She speaks with a soft motherly tone, and often will merely ask what is needed.
Symbol. A full moon with a waxing crescent on one side and a waning crescent on the other
Divine Relationships
Ellunae is the wife of Solaeus, and mother to Alairos, Kraeliise and Durathor. Most other gods often leave her to her own devices.
Worshiping God
Churches of Ellunae are fairly prominent. They are often large chapels with steeples adorned with the moon phases. Having 3 moons, it is often a superstition that she is visiting someone when all 3 are in the new moon phase.
Eratra, Queen of the Streets
Phantom of the Alley, Kingslayer

Eratra (er-a-truh) is the Chaotic Goddess of Twilight, Trickery, and Blood. Eratra believes that if you can do something, and you want to do something, then you should do it. She believes that through trickery or just generally being better than your opposition entitles you to victory in the situation. Take from the rich, take from the corrupt. Outwit those who wish to stop you. Kill those who stand in your way. She is the quintessential god-rogue, using her powers to dispatch justice for those who worship her. She also has a kind side. She has been known to appear before homeless individuals with food and vanishing before they can even say anything. Corrupt rulers fear her, for she has been rumored to be called upon to get rid of problems like them. Eratra also watches over the children left to the streets by Tyffana, teaching them to fend for themselves and survive.
Depiction. She appears as a short (5'2") human female with auburn, chin length, hair. She wears a mask black on one side, white on the other. Dark leather armor, with a dark hooded boot length coat over the whole outfit. She wields two daggers.
Symbol. Two crossed daggers, one dripping blood, and one with an apple stabbed
Divine Relationships
Eratra is looked at by other gods as nothing more than a powerful mortal. Even though she has been known to combat other deities, she generally ignores the affairs of the gods and focuses on her streets and thieves. Tyffana guides those children that choose the streets to her for protection and guidance.
Worshiping God
Those who worship Eratra do so through prayers and amulets. Outwardly worshiping her is considered taboo in polite society.
Gralarok, The Huntsman

Gralarok (gra-la-rok) is the Chaotic Good God of Nature, Strength, and War. He believes in the thrill of the hunt, and the true test of strength when man pits himself against beast as equals. Gralarok revels in tracking and hunting his prey, whether its beast, monster, man or god. There's almost nothing he can't track (except maybe Eratra) amd almost nowhere he can't follow his prey. His mannerisms are almost beastlike in nature and most other gods are wary in his presence. Gralarok teaches that there is a beast inside all of us and only through accepting it and becoming one with our primal selves will we truly have strength.
Depiction. Gralarok appears as a burly muscled man of about 8-feet tall. He wears a beast hood mask. His rippling tan skin and muscles are visible under his brown fur poncho and his leather loincloth. He wears leather fingerless gloves, and furtrimmed leather boots. He often wields a giant axe.
Symbol. A Large war axe embedded in a tree
Divine Relationships
Gralarok has a strange relationship with other gods. Most are wary of him, and he often clashes with Taern Allorn on territory and domain. The beast man, and the man beast are often mistaken for one another.
Worshiping Gralarok
Churches of Gralarok are more like hunting lodges than churches. They have a shrine to the god of the hunt to pray for a successful hunt, but there is not real mass or worship.
Gothallian, Raven Lord

Gothallian (goth-all-lee-ann) is the Chaotic Evil God of Blood, Death, Life and the Grave. Gothallian is the king of carrion. Ravens and hyenas are often seen following in his wake. Gothallian believes that blood is the source of all power, and to let it go to waste is a grave sin. He also believes that death is just part of the cycle. Repurposing the dead is better than letting them go to waste. He does however believe that the undead too must eventually return to the grave. Gothallian is a strange individual, his view of life and death are so intertwined that if it wasn't for his lack of morals nobody would know if he was really evil.
Depiction. Gothallian is depicted as five-foot goblinoid, with a black rusted metal helm with a jagged rusted crown. Green skin, almost decaying. Wearing torn ringmail and a tabard with his crest on it. His eyes glow red from under his helm, and he wields a jagged spear.
Symbol. A Raven over a red splatter
Divine Relationships
Gothallian is looked at by the other gods as something to warn others about. He generally doesn't care about any of them either, except for The Shepard. Gothallian and The Shepard tend to clash at times, mostly ending in Gothallian bowing out to the elder god. Mild disputes with Phblthrd also occur but generally end in them making a deal. Gothallian and Vizzazzizz often work together.
Worshiping God
Necromances, liches, and similar minded people often worship Gothallian. They do so in private shrines, as public worship is taboo and frowned upon by the majority of the world.
Kaelyrn, The Tactician

Kaelyrn (Kay-Leern) is the Lawful Goddess of Solidarity, Strength, War, Zeal, and Ambition. Kaelyrn is the goddess of soldiers, knights, and warriors. She is the embodiment of the perfect fighter and honorable battle. Kaelyrn believes that only through discipline can one succeed, and a disciplined soldier is a good soldier. She teaches that ambition and zeal will lead you to your goals, and through solidarity in your fellows will you be able to grow stronger. Her tactics are so amazing that there has never been a battle that she has lost. She believes in strategy and skill being hand and hand. She also has been the teacher of many a hero, as they seek her out for her prowess in battle.
Depiction. She appears as pale skinned elf, with a brown braid and dark eyes. She wears silver armor, and carries a longsword and a shield with her crest on it.

Divine Relationships
The other gods respect Kaelyrn as the tactical fighter she is. Daenoct is her sworn enemy, the hollow armor monstrosity cares not for battle outside the bloodshed, and she sees it her duty to keep him and his followers at bay. She was also K'van's teacher when he was mortal.
Worshiping God
Soldiers often pray to her when they are looking for promotion or going to battle. Her temples are generally training barracks for whatever nation's armies they reside in.
Karmurum, Lord of Dragons

Karmurum (kahrm-uhr-uhm) is the Good God of Arcana, Protection and Knowledge. He beleives that men and dragons should live in peace together and that only by joining forces to they stand a chance at thriving. Originally a member of an extinct race called the dragon lords, he founded Kaes K'naal and his teachings are what run Drakenholm. Karmurum is a teacher of forgotten draconic lore and magics, and holds them as the most precious things he has left for the world. Ascension to godhood has caused Karmurum to look at his dragon friends with a sort of pity. His lifespan now longer than even theirs. However his teachings of dragon and people unity have created some of the most magical places in Ar'Arkaedon. After the first corruption he ascended to godhood, the magics of his people are said to be the catalyst for it.
Depiction. He is depicted as elvish man with sage-green hair and green eyes. He wears green clothing and a dark green cape. In his dragon form he appears as a large dark green dragon.
Symbol. Green silhouette of a flying dragon
Divine Relationships
Karmurum is on good terms with both Ziirdraga and Wystana. They view him as one of their children even though he is not of true dragon origin. The rest of the gods leave him to his devices, letting him tend to Chynar and its dragons. Kromlynn and K'van are friends of his from before the first corruption.
Worshiping God
The worship of Karmurum is mostly done by the dragonriders of Drakenholm and Kaes K'naal but those wishing to join their ranks or who beleive in his teachings have also been known to worship him. Shrines to him are found in most dragon rider bunk areas and training grounds.
Kraeliise, Lady of the Sea

Kraeliise (cray-lees) is the sometimes Chaotic, somtimes Neutral Goddess of Tempest and Nature. She believes that the oceans are to be feared and revered. She also believes that if you manage to tough it out through the storm you come out the other side stronger. Kraeliise is the master of the seas, and the storms. She has been known to test sailors and punish those that do not respect the oceans. She can be as untameable as the seas she presides over, furious, calming, nurturing and vindicative. She has been known as both a savior of nations and executioner of them. The truest value she upholds is freedom.
Depiction. Kraeliise appears as a blue skinned elf with colorful scales covering parts of her body and minimal clothing that is colored various blues and adorned with coral and shells. Her white hair goes down to her hips and is tied in a braid, she has black eyes and speaks with a soft voice.

Divine Relationships
Kraeliise is the daughter of Soltaeus and Ellunae. Her brothers are Alairos and Durathor. The other gods both respect and fear her raw power and within her domain there is none who dare challenge her.
Worshiping God
Temples to Kraeliis are often found in port towns. They are usually small, with a shell and coral shrine. Sailors, pirates, and those that live on or near the sea often pray to her for safety and guidance.
Kromlyn, Speaker of the Trees
Forest Protector, Elvish guide

Kromlyn (crom-linn) is the Chaotic God of Nature, Trickery, and Protection. Kromlyn believes that the forests are sacred. He teaches the elves of the forests that they are to protect the forest from those that wish to harm it. He also is a huge fan of woodworking. If you must use the trees at least make something wonderful and/or needed. The teachings of Kromlyn are directly related to the beliefs of the elves of the forests. This has to do with the fact that a long time ago, before the first corruption, Kromlyn was a simple elf. The forest itself is said to be the power that made Kromlyn ascend to godhood. Kromlynn is fond of a good prank, often going a little too far and having to apologize.
Depiction. Kromlyn appears as a regular wood elf. He wears a lot of green, and wields a bow and arrow.

Divine Relationships
Kromlyn is all but ignored by most of the other gods as he mostly sticks to his forests. Occaisional disputes with Gralarok or Taern Allorn happen, and he is friendly with Phblthrd. He is friends with K'van and Karmurum from before the first corruption.
Worshiping God
Kromlyn does not have any temples. Shrines to him can be found in the forests, but most worship of him comes from ones self. It's not that people don't want to worship him, it's just that he refuses to let anyone build a church in his name. If you want to worship a god of the forests, do it in the forests.
K'van, The Hero of Man

K'van (k-vahn) is the Lawful Good God of Order, Protection, Light, and Unity. K'van believes in protecting the weak, upholding justice, maintaining order. Those that uphold good above all all are the truly powerful. K'van was a simple knight, turned paladin, turned god's chosen, turned god. He believes that the power of good in his soul is what caused this to happen, other's believe it to be a blessing from The Light. Whatever the case may be, the most devout of paladins shy in comparison to K'van and his dedication to protecting those that are weak or in danger. Before he ascended he lead a group against P'nuctis Kaern during the first corruption and saved the world. K'van has since taken up using his god-hood to right wrongs and protect mortals from higher powers.
Depiction. K'van appears as a tall, brunette buzz-cut haired man with pale skin. He wears silver armor covered in black runes, and wields a white-flame covered two-handed sword. He often appears to be almost glowing.

K'van has a strange relationship with the other gods. A Paladin of The Light, He was Kaelyrn's champion once, friend to Karmurum and Kromlyn before the first corruption, and was instrumental in sealing P'nuctis Kaern away.
Worshiping God
Temples to K'van are relatively new. Most of them are the stereotypical chapel style with a shrine to him in the front. Temples of The Light often have a small shrine to him as well.
The Light, The Holy Source
The True Good, The Brightest White

The Light (the-lyte) is the Good God of Light, Life, and Order. The Light is not a who but a what. It is the brightness in all things, that which illuminates the world. It is all around us and nowhere at the same time. The Light is the bringer of life and embodiment of all things good and holy. The Light exists only to protect and heal. Some believe it comes from the energy of all things, and that when they die they join it and are made new again. The Light tends to agree to an extent and leaves it at that. The Light seldem appears to someone, instead it provides visions or boons.
Depiction. If The Light does appear to someone it appears as a glowing sphere with a soothing, almost twinking female voice.
Symbol. White 4-pointed star with gold edges
Divine Relationships
The Light is revered by almost all good aligned deities. It's power is so immense that the only one who dares cross it openly is The Darkness. It chose K'van as it's champion before the first corruption, and it is rumored to be the source of all holy magics.
Worshiping God
Temples to The Light exist in most major cities. It is the one of the few gods everyone in Ar'Arkaedon universally acknowledge and worship. Clerics, Paladins, and those of a holy nature or background tend to woship The Light.
Phblthrd, Spore King
The Rotting One, Fungus Tender

Phblthrd (fib-el-thurd) is the Chaotic Good God of Nature, Grave, Trickery and Life. Phblthrd believes that death is natural and all things must return to the earth. He also believes that by doing so we complete the circle allowing our bodies to be used as fertilizer for fungus and other plants. He's also a big believer of the medicinal power of mushrooms. Being one with nature is big on his list of things to strive for. This fungus deity has been known to play tricks on those wandering the forests usually providing them with food in the form of mushrooms after he has had his laugh.
Depiction. Phblthrd looks like a humanoid. White spongy body with 3 fingered hands and 4 toed feet. Glowing yellow circles for eyes and a large smile. His head has a large redcapped mushroom atop it like a big umbrella. He wears a loincloth made from plant fiber, a large, multi-pocketed cloak and a giant rotting log on his back where he grows his fungus. He carries a staff covered in toadstools and other fungus.

Divine Relationships
Phblthrd has no qualms with any deity good or bad. Sometimes a mild dispute over domains with Gothallian but often they make a deal and all is forgiven. The Shepherd and Phblthrd have an almost father/adopted son relationship. Where Phblthrd does his thing with the body, and The Shephard ushers the soul onward.
Worshiping God
The worship of Phblthrd is done so by those who seek a simple view of the circle of life. His temples are generally mushroom farms where his followers give their bodies after life to become fertilizer. People often by medicinal mushrooms from these temples. His shrines are fungal mounds covered in red-capped mushrooms.
P'nuctis Kaern, The Old One
The Mad God, Chaos Bringer

P'nuctis Kaern (puh-nuhk-tis-kairn) is the Chaotic Evil god of Twilight, Knowledge, Death, and Zeal. P'nuctis Kaern is the bringer of madness, chaos and corruption. He seeks only to inflict his curse upon the lands and twist it to his designs. To him everything is a plaything, to be manipulated and changed to his will. He frequently has sent his twisted abominations and behemoths to wreak havock on the world. Spreading madness and corruption as they can. At his will the dead rise, at his command horrors attack. P'nuctis Kaern is as old as gods come, some say one of the oldest. He seeks to reclaim the world that was once his and his creation's domain.
He is currently trapped in a pocket dimension by a group of other gods led by K'van and is biding his time, scheming and planning for his return.
Depiction. P'nuctis Kaern appears as an unbelievably enormous titan of a monster. He has squid-like tentacles where his legs should be, almost amphibious humanoid torso, 4 arms the upper two ending in long clawlike 6 fingered hands, and the lower two ending in crablike claws. His face has 3 glowing yellow eyes with black slits, tentacles where his mouth and hair should be. On his back run two large wing-like fins.
Symbol. A yellow, slitted eyball with tentacals coming off it.
Divine Relationships
Almost all the gods fear him even a little bit, save maybe a few of the other ancient ones. Wanderer, Shepherd, Light, Darkness. The Soulless are literally servants of his will, and use his gifts to do his bidding. K'van has lead a group of gods against him after the first corruption.
Worshiping God
There are very few brave or foolish enough to worship P'nuctis Kaern. Only the cult of The Soulless does so openly or willingly.
Raena, The Reveler
Love, Beauty, Debauchery

Raena (ray-nuh) is the Chaotic Good Goddess of Nature, Unity, and Trickery. Raena believes that beauty and love are above all things. She revels in reveling. Parties and debauchery. Song and Wine. Alcohol of all kinds suit. She also believes in being yourself, and loving who or what you want to love.
Depiction. She appears as a slender unbelievably beautiful elven female. Long blonde hair, pale skin, green eyes, red lips. She wears a long red dress slit up to her hip on both sides, with a deep v cut.

Divine Relationships
As far as the other gods are concerned Raena is a debaucherous, swinging, messy excuse for a deity. None have any real problems with her per say, they just do not understand her purpose.
Worshiping God
Places of worship for Raena are generally dens of debauchery. Usually her shrine is out front, and once you enter you are greeted with alcohol and sexual encounters. The parties seem to almost never stop. She is worshiped by prostitutes, revelers, and similar individuals.
Rajaerna, Muse of Magic
Innovation in Magic, Creative Smith

Rajaerna (rah-jayr-nuh) is the Chaotic Goddess of Arcana, Knowledge, Forge, and Amibition. Rajaerna believes in creativity and innovation through invention and magic. For her complacency is close to death. She has been known to be the muse to arcanists and engineers throughout time, and is in possession of technology that the world is not even ready for yet.
Depiction. Rajaerna appears as a gnome female with grey eyes, light sandy hair pixe cut, light freckles along her nose and olive skin. She is clad in clockwork armor pieces, dark blue overalls, work gloves and boots. She wields a large wrench and a hammer, and dons a belt of potions, scrolls, and guns.
Symbol. A Blue Vial, in front of a brass cog, next to a white scroll
Divine Relationships
Rajaerna is respected by gods on either spectrum of the alignments for her innovation and craft. Zimlin and her are close friends.
Worshiping God
Rajaerna's temples are in fact experimental labs where engineers, arcanists, alchemists, and magic wielders gather to work on creating new and exciting things. These craft halls are often found with a shrine to her near to forges. To worship Rajaerna is to practice your craft. Sorcerers, wizards, arcanists, inventors, alchemists, and basically anyone who uses magic to create anything often pray to and worship her.
The Shepard, Guide to the Dead
Bringer of Death, Reaper of Man

The Shepherd (the-shep-urd) is the Neutral God of Life, Death and Grave. The Shepherd believes in moving on after death. His very existence is acting as a guide to souls along the Soul Road to the various afterlives. The Shepherd is as old as death itself and is often used synonymously with it. "Shepherd take me", and "Under the care of the Shepherd" are common phrases. As far as allegiance goes he is almost a true neutral, only interfering when souls are being stopped from entering his care, or death is being perverted or corrupted. His power limits aren't actually known, and many speculate that if it wasn't for his dedication to his job he could put any of the other deities out of their misery. He tends to agree.
Depiction. He appears as a humanoid clad in black robes and a featureless mask. He wears a large round black hat and carries a bladed shepherds hook.
Symbol. A bladed shepherds hook
Divine Relationships
The Shepherd is looked at by the others as an ugly truth. One day he may even come for them. He looks to Phblthrd as a silly child playing with the bodies, and Gothallian is generally on the end of a scolding if he oversteps his claim to the dead. He has a strange respect of The Wanderer, and will sometimes enlist Zed in assisting with the guidance of souls. Chroneaus knows that one day The Shepherd will come for him, however The Wanderer remains a mysterious prize that may never be won.
Worshiping God
There are sects of Shepherd Priests who perform funerals and last rights, dusting the body with fresh ashes, placing a whool bandage over the eyes, and placing a gold coin on the chest. Otherwise outside of those that deal directly with death, he is not worshiped per say however he is respected and prayed to frequently in regards to loved ones passing and other similar events.
Soltaeus, Sun Father
The Father of All, Keeper of the Sun

Soltaeus (sohl-tay-us) is the Lawful Good God of Light, Life, Protection and Order. Solteaus is the god of the sun and considered the father of gods. He believes that with the rising of the sun, each new day has a chance to bring more good to the world. He teaches that through cleansing fire evil shall be reborn, and protecting those against the corrupted dark of the world is everyone's duty. He is one of the gods who helped create Ar'Arkaedon and also one of the most power gods to exist.
Depiction. He appears as a large bearded man with golden shoulder length hair and bronze skin. His eyes glow with the light of the sun. He wears a golden toga, and wields a shield shaped like the sun.
Symbol. A blazing sun.
Divine Relationships
Husband of Ellunae, father to Alairos, Kraeliise, and Durathor. He is respected by other gods for his shear age and power alone. As one of the creators of the world he has a sort of pull with the other gods.
Worshiping God
Churches of Soltaeus are common. They have large steeples with a blazing golden sun dipicted on them.
Taern Allorn, The Wild
Feral Lord of Beasts, Were-Father

Taern Allorn (tairn-uh-lorn) is the Chaotic God of Nature and Protection. Taern Allorn is the god of were-folk and the food chain. He protects the animals in the forests and tries to teach the were-folk to embrace both sides of who they are. Often he is said to show up when someone is about to turn for the first time and watch them on their first hunt. Those who have actually hunted alongside him truly know what it is like to be one with the beast within. He also has been known to slay or turn poachers as punishment for not respecting the animals. He is also known to teach his forms to druids who have earned his favor although it is rare.
Depiction. When he appears it is usually as one of his twisted wereforms. The four eyed lycan, the werecat with 3 tails, the four armed werebear, the winged werefox. He also can turn into full versions of these animals. His humanoid form is a greenskinned elf with fangs, and yellow eyes. He has a fur loincloth on, and a fur cape.
Symbol. Wolfs head with 4 glowing yellow eyes
Divine Relationships
Occaisional fueds with Gralarok over domain, and run ins with Kromlyn over territory. Otherwise he is generally left alone to his care of the animals and werebeasts.
Worshiping God
He is worshipped in secret by werebeasts in hiding, and certain druid circles have shrines to him. There are not churches to him as his domains seem to be outside the needs of most men. There are conservationists who have shrines to him however.
Tyffanna, The Caretaker
Matron, Fosterer, Guardian

Tyffanna (tif-uh-nuh) is the Good God of Life, Knowledge, Nature, and Protection. Tyffanna believes in nurturing and caring for young, regardless of where if comes from. Children are innocent in her eyes and precious commodities. She is the foster mother to all, the caretaker of orphans. The children who are lost or abandoned are often guided by her to places where they can be safe and taken care of, those who refuse her guidance are often left to the streets under the protection or Eratra. She is often called the Goddess of Children because of how close her ties with them are. She also is the goddess of fertility and bearing of children. Sometimes blessing mothers who cannot conceive with miracle babies.
Depiction. Tyffanna appears as a small blond girl with shoulder length hair with a bow in it. She usually wears blue dresses with ribbons. Her shoes are usually black. Her other form is of young, motherly lady. Similar hair and dress, with kindness in her voice. Her race generally changes to appease the children she is appearing to. She wields no weapons, her magic is potent enough without one.
Symbol. A heart on fire
Divine Relationships
The other gods respect her domain and those who dare bring harm to her charges soon learn to regret it. Eratra takes care of the children who choose the streets as their home out of respect to Tyffana.
Worshiping God
Parents, expecting or hoping often pray to her. Orphanages have shrines to her in their main rooms.
Vizzazzizz
Bringer of Pestilence, Bug Shepard

Vizzazzizz (vihz-zazz-zihz) is the Evil God of Death, Nature, and Trickery. He is the god of insects and pestilence, of disease and infection. He is the bringer of plagues and swarms. He believes that sickness is the great equalizer. Only the strong of will and spirit make it though the great plagues. He has brought down entire kingdoms and caused nations to be wiped bare overnight. The insects clean up what the plagues leave behind.
Depiction. He appears chitinous humanoid. Head like an ant, large mandibles, big orange compound eyes, feathered antennae. He has four arms, claw-like with 3 hook-like fingers on each hand. His legs emd in large two-clawed feet. He wears leather spiky pauldron and chest harness, and a tattered loincloth and wields a jagged bladed staff with a hive-like hole at one end.
Symbol. An ant with green smoke rising from it
Divine Relationships
Vizzazzazz is to the other gods like a plague is to humans. He is a horrifying thing that many hope to never witness. He often works with Gothallian.
Worshiping God
Those who worship Vizzazzizz tend to study poisons and diseases. Often building up immunities to them. They are also prone to raising and cultivating insects. Churches of Vizzazzizz are all but nonexistant, the only known one being on the edge of the Chynar desert. There they cultivate and raise many insects, as well as curate and sell poisons. They also work on discovering cures for disease although they rarely share the results.
The Wanderer,
Watcher of the World, The Old Man

The Wanderer (the-won-der-er) is the Chaotic God of Trickery, Knowledge, Nature and Time. He believes in exploring the worlds, being free, and upholding a balance in the unverse. He is a watcher, a trickster, a bringer of balance, and a cultivator of heroes. He is the true embodiment of free will, and often will only intervene if the world itself is in danger. The Wanderer is ancient, some say he is all that is left of the gods from another world, or another dimension. He is reluctant to correct or provide information on any of these speculations however. He is fond of games of chance and pranks. Often his favors come in the form of a game or a riddle or a puzzle.
Depiction. He appears as a tanned human with brown short hair and bright green eyes. He wears a long brown tattered coat, with dark clothes underneath. He wears a big brown hat with a large green feather in it. He rarely wields a weapon, but when he does it is usually one of the unique wands he keeps in his coat.
Symbol. A brown hat with a big green feather
Divine Relationships
There is not a god of this realm that has not heard of him. His nature generally makes him non-threatening to any of them, so they leave him be. Chronaeus remarks that he cannot remember a time when The Wanderer didn't exist and looks to him as an anomaly. The Shepherd looks to the wanderer as a prize, he cannot figure out when his time will be up, and that worries him. Xerrathellia seems to be an agent or informant of his at times.
Worshiping God
Adventurers and Bards often worship him for his free spirit and attitudes on heroes. There are no churches or shrines of The Wanderer, only small charms with his symbol on them.
Wystana, The Silver Sentinal
Mother of Dragons, Justice for All

Wystana (wi-stahn-uh) is the Lawful Good Goddess of Justice, Knowledge, and Order. She believes truth, justice, and a strong resolve are the basis for civilized society. She teaches that without honor we are nothing. Wystana also believes that those who do evil or break the law must be held accountable. In her teaches there are no gray areas only black and white, good and bad, right and wrong. She is also matron goddess of dragons, although those on the cromatic spectrum of an evil alignment are considered abominations in her eyes. She is also the creator of the Wysborn or Wys Dragonborn race to be protectors of the world.
Depiction. She appears as a pale, almost silver skinned, tall elf. She posesses long white hair, and blue eyes. She has various blue and silver trimmed piercings and cuffs in her ears. She wears silver scalemail trimmed in blue, with a flowing blue cape. While in dragon form she is a large silver dragon with blue trimmed spines in her crests and blue spikes. She also has blue eyes.
Symbol. A silver dragon head in profile emblazoned in fire.
Divine Relationships
Wystana is the yin to Ziirdraga's yang. The two coexist together peacefully, yet usually clashing on ideals. The other gods respect her and her domain.
Worshiping God
Temples to Wystana are common in Chynar. They are one half courthouse, and one half temple to the goddess herself. Dragonborn, paldins, knights, clerics, and similar minded people worship her.
Xerrathellia, Keeper of the Balance
Balance in all, Keeper of the Scales

Xerrathellia (zair-uh-thel-lee-uh) is the Neutral Goddess of Time, Order, and Knowledge. She believes in keeping balance and order. She doesn't care for good or evil, but maintaining a true balance. She is known for giving prophecies and launching grand quests whenever the world is in danger of ending. She is in fact so impartial that there have been times where she has sat back and watched as an overzealous force of holy judgment be crushed by demons. She is so fair in her decisions that small shrines of her are in every court room.
Depiction. She appears as beautiful a 4 winged angel, she wears a white blindfold and a white, loose-fitting dress. Her brunette hair goes to her shoulders, and holds a set of large silver scales.
Symbol. A pair of silver scales
Divine Relationships
The gods of this realm are as impartial to her as she is to them. Any of them that plot to tip the scales of balance one way or the other are wary of her intervention and wrath.
Worshiping God
There are some paladins and clerics that worship Xerrathellia. Those that work in the judicial system also pray to her for guidance. Her churches are actually courthouses.
Xuultan, Lord of Hell
King of Devils, Keeper of Sins

Xuultan (zool-tan) is the Chaotic Evil God of Twilight, Death, and Trickery. The Lord of Hell, king of demons and devils, keeper of the sins of man. He believes in spreading his influence and extending the reach of hell. While his minions are often used by various evils, at the end of the day they answer to him and him alone. Under the contract of a demon? Xuultan holds their's. Using the powers of a powerful demonic patron? Xuultan allows it. Summoning a demon or devil to do your bidding? Xuultan wishes it to be so. His only payment is the sins of man. With every act of evil he grows fat with strength, with every terrible dead he gains power, with each twisted thought his influence grows.
Depiction. He often appears as red humanoid skeleton with fangs and glowing yellow eyes, with a gold crown and black robes. His true form is a massive pit fiend looking demon with a 4 black horns, and a central golden horn. He has glowing yellow eyes, and golden claws. He wields a massive twisted spikey hunk of metal resembling a mace on fire.
Symbol. Red skull with fangs and horns.
Divine Relationships
The gods of the good domain look at him with distaste, while the gods of evil domain look at him as an ally. He could care less about any of them so long as he can collect his sins and release his influence.
Worshiping God
There are no official temples of Xuultan, however warlocks and other demon worshiping cults often have a shrine or pendant to him.
Zed, Manifester of Destinies
Captain of Fate, Dimensional Sailer

Zed (zed) is the Chaotic God of Twilight, Knowledge, and Trickery. He is believes that fate and change are one in the same. There are prophecies, there are destinies, but you are the captain of your own life and merely by accepting or attempting to change your fate, you are making a choice and creating your own adventure. The captain of a dimension shifting, plane hopping, world traveling ship named The Nidhoggr, he brings unknowing individuals to new worlds to start over, or begin their adventures. Zed is at his core a pirate captain. His mannerisms and speech are just that, and his outlook on life is that if you don't make your own luck and pick your own destiny that you aren't going to get very far. The extent of his powers are unknown, and it is unclear if he is even from Ar'Arkaedon or his powers are just so great that he can freely come and go through the dimensional blockage that tends to cut off most out of world gods.
Depiction. Zed appears as an old pirate captain. Rough face, eyepatch over his left eye, chin length grey/brown hair, matching beard to his chest. Tall, and broad shouldered but not bulky. He wears a long dark blue coat, and dark sailors garb. Higher classed than most. His broad captains hat has a big white feather in it. In his true form however he appears as a coral encrusted skeleton with tattered clothes and glowing eyes. He wields a two handed cutlass with one hand.
Symbol. A coral covered skull with a captains hat.
Divine Relationships
The other gods are wary of him, none really know much about him. He is on friendly terms with The Wanderer, and they often seem to coordinate their efforts. He also has been known to assist The Shepherd in the guiding of souls.
Worshiping God
Nobody really worships Zed. Some may prey to him for guidance or for a new life, but he mostly just takes people to different worlds unbeknown to them to start their grand journeys.
Ziirdraga, The Gold Tongue
Father of Dragons, Wish Dealer

Ziirdraga (zeer-draw-gah) is the Chaotic Good God of Ambition, Knowledge, and Trickery. He believes that treasure and knowledge are prizes to be won. He believes in the art of the deal, and the sport of a charismatic negotiation. He believes that everything has a price, and that the best deals are the ones that are in his favor. He is often responsible for many a grand quest with his deals. He is the patron god of dragons, and looks at the evil chromatic ones as children who lost their way. He even created the Ziirborn or Ziir Dragonborn as keepers of knowledge in the world.
Depiction. He appears as a tanned, almost golden skinned tall elf. He has long shoulder length red hair, tied back with a golden band and red eyes, with golden piercings and cuffs in his ears. He wears a red undershirt with a golden loose-fitting over shirt, and baggy gold pants with red boots. His dragon form is a large golden dragon with red whisker and spines.
Symbol. Golden dragon trimmed in crimson
Divine Relationships
Ziirdraga is the yang to Wystana's yin. The two coexist together peacefully, yet usually clashing on ideals. The other gods leave him to his own devices.
Worshiping God
Temples to Ziirdraga are common in Chynar. They are often large flea markets with a huge golden shrine to him in the middle. Dragonborn, bards, adventurers, and negotiators pray to him.
Zimlin, Artificer of Heaven
The Manic Engineer, Smith to Gods

Zimlin (zim-lin) is the sometimes Neutral sometimes Good God of Forge, Knowledge, Arcana, and Trickery. He believes that through hard work great things are achieved and made. He believes that you have to be creative when you create new contraptions, and a little boom needs more boom. He is the god of metalworking and forging. Rumored to smith for the gods themselves. To him, to create something is to pour your soul, being, and very essence into it. If you aren't giving your all to each creation you are cheating it, yourself, and the world of what it could have been.
Depiction. He appears as a tanned dwarf with short, dark brown hair, and a twin braided beard. His bright hazel eyes are often behind a pair of tinted goggles. He wears a large smiths apron, heavy gloves. A long-sleeve gray shirt, dark denim pans, and thick tall boots. He wields a massive pneumatic hammer and various other gadgets and weapons that he has created.
Symbol. Goggles hanging on an anvil
Divine Relationships
The gods respect Zimlin for his ability to create weapons that could very well kill even them. They often make requests of him to improve or repair their own armaments. Him and Rajaerna are close friends.
Worshiping God
Zimlin's temples are large forge-halls where blacksmiths, engineers, and arcanists are constantly creating new and exciting things. There is usually a shrine to him near the forges. To work hard at your creations is to worship Zimlin. Arcanists, engineers, blacksmiths, and inventors often worship him.
