## Barbarian Subclass: Path of the Brewmaster For some barbarians the call of the drink is too much and they soon need ale to fuel their Rage. For this reason...and only this and totally not for any other reason...do they carry a magic cask of ale around with them at all times so that they never run out of ale. >#### A Bawdy Limerick >There was a young lady named Lou
who said as the parson withdrew--
"Now the Vicar is quicker,
And thicker, and slicker,
And two inches longer than you.
### Path of the Brewmaster Features | Barbarian Level | Feature| |:-------------:|:-------------| |3rd| Stash, Drunken Might| |6th| Bloodshot| |10th| Drunken Revelry| |14th| Black Tooth Grin|
### Stash When choosing this archtype at 3rd level you gain 1 additional number of rages to use due to your stash of alcohol fueling your rage. If you use this additional rage you will suffer a level of exhaustion until you take a long rest to recover.
### Drunken Might You swing your weapon with a drunken abandon. Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, while raging you take a -1 penalty to your attack roll. If your attack hit, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. When you reach 10th level your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18-20. \columnbreak ### Bloodshot At 6th level, you gain the ability to complete a full rest in only 4 hours and only 30 minutes for a short rest (or half of whatever is used in your campaign). Due to your lifestyle of staying up late drinking and getting up early the next morning you no longer require a full night’s sleep and a quick nap will help you push through the day. You must expend a hit die to shorten a full rest.
### Drunken Revelry Beginning at 10th level, you can use your Action to bolster your allies with a drinking song often of the bawdy variety. This action must be made while you are raging (drunk). Choose 5 friendly creatures (which can include yourself) to gain temporary Hit Points equal to your Strength modifier + your Barbarian level. (See PHB for rules concerning temporary health.) Using this Action for your turn will allow you to continue your rage for the allotted time without falling off for not attacking on this turn in the case you are not attacked as well. You can use this ability only once per rage.
### Black Tooth Grin At 14th level, you develop a mystical, black, viscous, alcoholic concoction that you store in a hip flask which you can drink as a bonus action. When consumed the drink sticks to your teeth, hence the name. For 1 minute after drinking the concoction you enter into a rage (consuming one of your rages), cannot lose your rage, your rage damage modifier is doubled, and you gain resistance to all sources of damage. This ability can only be used once per long rest. ## Art Credits: * DUNGEON DWELLERS: JALARAK LEADBARRELS, DWARF BREWMASTER, Reaper Miniatures
