An olive branch made of silverwings in the shape of a sphere forged by Light. While it is attuned to the Risen, it is ultimately worn by the Ghost.

Observer Evie Calumet's Report Summary
It has been exactly one year and one month since the discovery of Machine X. Machine X continues its terraforming of Mars's surface. As of September 15th, Mars's atmosphere is now breathable by human lungs. Missions in order to transfer several critical equipment in order to facilitate an observation deck for Machine X are still underway. As there is no guarantee that Machine X will remain on Mars before once again vanishing, there is no plan to send any additional equipment.
We have been analyzing the energy that Machine X is emitting and so far have not discovered any adverse effects. In fact, many of the staff have been reported to be much more vigorous than usual and have even reported that they did not sleep much due to not needing it. Most staff members have taken 1 or 2 hour "sleep" cycles with no sign of fatigue or sleep deprivation. Whenever any of us move closer to Machine X's proximity, we would receive a "warm" feeling. At this point, we would no longer even require rest. Dr. Mihaylova has been seen working on her analysis for one week straight while within Machine X's proximity.
It is worth noting that by the time she returned to the base, she fell into a normal 7 hour sleep and woke up without feeling any abnormality. Any staff member, upon leaving Machine X's energy range (about 5 kilometers), would suddenly collapse, citing extreme exhaustion as if they have been staying awake for weeks on end. I believe this energy Machine X creates effectively replaces our body's natural energy creating functions and even makes it more efficient as we do still require food but eating has essentially replaced sleep.
In 19:00 Earth Standard, an event had occurred. While approaching Machine X for observation, it had, for the lack of better phrasing, "planted a seed." A small hatch had opened beneath Machine X as I scrambled to take a closer inside due to the lack of any access points to the interior, but unfortunately, I was distracted by what had been ejected from the hatch. It was a small metallic seed wreathed in a pure white metal weave. Through either magnetic or gravitional force manipulation, it planted this seed into the ground and it grew right before my eyes.
It was a tree, 70 centimeters in height. It resembled an olive tree but in the form of a cradle. Inside the cradle were branches weaved into a sphere. It was presented as some form of offering.
The sphere was made from exotics elementals that did not exist in the periodic table. It also emitted the same type of energy Machine X had, or rather, it stored it. It was anomalous in nature, but not much else could be observed.
I believe this was a gift from Machine X, as if a sort of peace offering. It was giving us a chance to learn more about it and what it is. Given time, we be able to understand its true nature as well.
