Spirit of the Woods

Starting at 3rd level, you are able to summon The Spirit of the Woods, an incorporeal spirit in the shape of a woodland animal that you have seen before. Your Spirit animal cannot directly attack enemies and is immune to physical and magical attacks, but can be dispelled.


If Spirit of the Woods is dispelled it can be re-summoned after you take a long rest.


Spirit of the Woods has the following abilities:


Charge!: While you are within 30ft of your Spirit animal, as a bonus action command your Spirit animal to charge 30ft in a straight line. All enemies in the charge path are Spirit Touched. Spirit Touched enemies suffer an extra 1d6 Force damage for (1) round of combat whenever you hit with a weapon attack.


Sick em!: While you are within 30ft of your Spirit animal, as a bonus action command your Spirit animal to target an enemy creature within 30ft and attach itself to their spirit. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be rooted in place for (1) round of combat.


Protect!: While you are within 30ft of your Spirit animal, as a bonus action command your Spirit animal to attach to your Spirit and gain +1 ac and advantage to Dexterity and Wisdom saving throws for (1) round of combat.

Spirited Advantage


At 5th level while within 30ft of your Spirit animal you can use an action to have your Spirit animal target an allied creature within 30ft giving them +1 AC, advantage to dexterity and wisdom saving throws and advantage on their next attack roll.


Once an allied creature has gained the effects of Spirited Advantage their Spirit is weakened and cannot gain this effect again for 1 minute.

Mirrored Spirit


At 7th level, while you are within 30ft of your Spirit animal you can use an action to command your Spirit animal to lash out at all Spirit Touched enemies dealing 1d6 Force damage.

Survival of the Fittest


At 11th level, the Feywood Protector gains advantage on saving throws against magical Charm effects.


Additionally, as a bonus action they can create a barbed arrow. Targeted enemy creatures hit with the barbed arrow must succeed a Constitution saving throw or be considered bleeding. Bleeding enemies take 1d10 piercing damage at the start of their turn until they save.

Scion of the Woods


Beginning at 15th level, the Feywood Protector takes on a more fey appearance, the varies but green tinted skin, leaves for hair, bark like skin, and fur are not uncommon.


Additionally, the Feywood Protector gains the following features:

Speaker of the forest

Gain Speak with animals, and Speak with plants as a cantrip

Treewalker

Gain Treestride as a level 2 spell

River Sprite

Gain Water Breathing as a cantrip

Forest Prowler

Gain +5 movement speed and advantage to Stealth checks

Spirit Warrior

Spirit Touched targets now take 2d6 Force damage.
