Kobold Features
Kobolds are small reptillian humanoids with long dragonlike snouts, slender tails, and horns. Your kobold Character has certain Characteristics in common with other kobolds.
Ability Score Increase
your dexterity score increases by 2
Age
Kobolds reach adulthood at age 6 and can live up to 120 years but rarely do so.
Size
Kobolds are between 2 and 3 feet tall and weigh between 25 and 35 pounds. Your size is Small.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 ft.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Subrace
There are four types of Kobolds you can play as
Cavern Kobold
As a cavern kobold you are a clever hunter, skilled in ambushing enemies. Cavern kobolds live in dark underground caverns. they prefer to fight by setting up ambushes, and overwhelming foes by attacking from all directions. They generally have darker scales than most kobolds. As a cavern kobold, you gain the following traits

Superior Darkvision
Your darkvision has a radius of 120 feet.
Sunlight Sensitivity
You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.
Pack Tactics
You have advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of your allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Skilled Climber
you have a Climb speed of 30 ft
Dragonscale Kobold
As a Dragonscale Kobold, you have more in common with your larger dragon cousins than other kobolds. Dragonscale kobolds have breath weapons similar to dragons, but with significantly less power behind them. They tend to have more brightly colored scales. As a dragonscale kobold you gain the following traits

Draconic Ancestry
You have draconic ancestry. Choose one type of dragon from the Draconic Ancestry table. Your breath weapon and damage resistance are determined by the dragon type, as show n in the table

Breath Weapon
You can use your action to exhale
destructive energy. Your draconic ancestry determines
the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation.
When you use your breath weapon, each creature in
the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw,
the type of which is determined by your draconic
ancestry. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 +
your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A
creature takes 2d4 damage on a failed save, and half
as much damage on a successful one. The damage
increases to 3d4 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d4
at 16th level.
You can use this breath weapon a number of times equal to your constitution modifier then, you can’t use it
again until you complete a short or long rest.

Spellscale Kobold
As a Spellscale Kobold, you are naturally aligned to a school of magic. Spellscale kobolds use their magic to improve life in their villages they consider their magic a gift from the gods, and it's not uncommon for them to want more. They generally have paler scales than other kobolds, often appearing grey where others would appear black. As a spellscale kobold you gain the following traits

Your Charisma score increases by 1
Cantrip
You know one cantrip of your choice from the sorcerer spell list. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it.
Basic Spellcasting
At 3rd level, choose one 1st-level spell from that same list and school.
at 5th level you gain a 2nd level spell from the sorcerer spell list. You learn these spells and can cast them at their lowest levels. Once you cast these spells, you must finish a long rest before you can cast them again.
Venomtail Kobold
As a venomtail kobold, you are more closely related to pseudodragons than true dragons. You have a venomous stinger on the end of your tail. Venomtail kobolds, usually have red or green scales, however, other colors have been spotted. As a venomtail kobold you gain the following features

Venomous Tail
Your tail is a natural weapon that deals 1d4 piercing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned for 1 hour.
Keen Senses
You Have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight, hearing, or smell
Limited Telepathy
You can communicate simple ideas, emotions, and images telepathically with any creature within 100 feet of it that can understand a language.
