Psionic Sword

Psionic sword sorcerer's excert a special kind of telepathy which allows them to bond with swords. Doing so lets them telepathically weave their swords around them, cutting down their enemies.

Symbiotic Swords

Beginning at 1st level, You can attune to a number of swords equal to your Charisma modifier or less. Attuning to these swords don't count against the maximum number of magical items you can attune to. These swords are referred to as symbiotic swords. You can use your bonus action to telepathically draw all of your symbiotic swords. Your symbiotic swords will stay drawn for 1 minute and will return to their sheaths when that minute passes. Whenever you draw your symbiotic swords, they will orbit around you until you attack with them or until they return to their sheaths. You are proficient with symbiotic swords and will use your Charisma modifier for their attack and damage rolls instead of Strength or Dexterity. When you use your action to attack with one of your symbiotic swords, you can target a creature up to 30 ft. away from you that you can see. On hit, a symbiotic sword will deal 1d10 + your Charisma modifier of psychic damage. When you attack a creature more than 5 ft. away from you with a symbiotic sword, that sword will move out of your orbit to make it's attack and will occupy a space next to the target of your attack until the start of your next turn. You cannot attack with a symbiotic sword that has already left your orbit.

Whenever you use your action to make an attack with a symbiotic sword, you can use your bonus action to make an additional attack with another symbiotic sword. You do not add your Charisma modifier to the damage roll of this attack.

You will gain a +1 bonus to your AC for each symbiotic sword that is orbiting you.

If a creature moves out of one of your threatened tiles, you can make an attack of opportunity with one of your symbiotic swords if there is one in your orbit.

If a creature attempts to grab one of your symbiotic swords, it must make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC, being able to freely move around the sword on a successful saving throw or failing to move the sword on a failed one. If the creature succeeded in grabbing your sword, it must make the same saving throw at the start of each of your turns until it fails, returning your sword to your orbit.

You can use this feature twice per long rest.

Psionic Resilience

Also starting at 1st level, your maximum hit point total will increase by 1 and will increase by 1 again whenever you gain a level in this class.

Psionic Techniques

At 6th level, you learn how to use your sorcery points as a fuel source for special psionic techniques.

Blink. As a bonus action, you can spend a sorcery point and teleport up to half your movement speed to an unoccupied space you can see.

Psionic Focus. If you receive damage while you are concentrating on a spell, you can spend your reaction and a scorcery point to make your concentration check with advantage.

Relentless. Whenever you take the attack action and attack with one of your symbiotic swords, you can spend a scorcery point and make an additional attack with a different symbiotic sword as a part of that attack action.

Spell Blade

At 14th level, you can temporarily enhance of your symbiotic swords with the effects of a spell. As an action, you can imbue one of your symbiotic swords with one spell you can cast, then make an attack with that sword. If the attack hits, the target takes the sword's damage and is subjected to the effects of the spell, expending a spell slot accordingly. If the attack misses, the spell misses as well. If the attack hits, all spell attack rolls for the imbued spell hit the target automatically. If the attack has advantage, the target's initial saving throw against the spell has disadvantage.

The spell must be of 1st-level or higher, and have a casting time of 1 action.

If you spend your action using this feature, you cannot make any additional attacks with your symbiotic swords.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Zenith

Finally at 18th level, your symbiotic swords will score a critical hit on an attack roll of 19-20. If one of your symbiotic swords score a critical hit, you regain 1 sorcery point. You can only recover 1 sorcery point per turn with this feature.

Attuning to Magical Weapons

If a psionic sword sorcerer telepathically bonds with a magical sword, that weapons magical traits can still be applied to attacks as normal. For example, if a psionic sword sorcerer bonds with a +1 longsword they would still apply the longsword's enchantment bonus to it's attack and damage rolls. The same would be true if a magical weapon had a special effect that could be activated with your action, and so on.
