# Weaveborn ### Weaveborn **Weaveborn** are creatures of the weaves pure magic made manifest, but usually they appear only for moments before once again dissipating into the weave. Sometimes powerfull mages locate these creatures and force them into servitude by locking them into semi-physical form and shackling them with various magical items(Usually sets of armor) or rocks/metals with magically inscribed runes. **Weaveborn** never truly die, once they are killed they simply dissipate and eventually reform years or even ages later, therefore carrying memories of many other ages but due to that amount of information, memories of their previous lifes are fleeting. Many continue their lives in servitude of the mages but some are released or break out, stuck in material forms. Some see it as a curse seeking methods to break it, while other embrace such life. The names of **Weaveborn** are ones they usually come up themselves, and most of the time they are simply words that they find meaningful to themselves. Example:Beauty,Knowledge,Anger,Balance,Nature. ### Weaveborn Traits As a weaveborn you share these traits with others of your kind **Ability Score Increase.** Your Intelligence increases by 2 and Wisdom by 1. **Age.** Weaveborn are mature the moment they manifest and can live up to unknown amount of time. **Alignment.** Weaveborn allignments vary but usually stay of neutral allignments. **Size.** Weaveborn are between 5 and 7 feet tall and weigh depending on their shackles between 75 and 120 pounds on average. Your size is medium. **Speed.** Your base walking speed is 30 feet. **Darkvision.** You can see in dim light within 60 feet as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. **Weave Recharge.** When you take a long rest, you must spend at least four hours of it in an inactive, motionless state, absorbing strands of the Weave's energy, rather than sleeping. In this state, you appear inert, but it doesn't render you unconscious, and you can see and hear as normal. **Elemental Force** You know the mage hand cantrip. Additionally, you can cast the absorb elements spell, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. Any extra damage dealt by absorb elements cast in this way becomes force. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells. **Unleashed Power.** Starting at 3rd level, you can use an action to unshackle yourself from the limitations on you. For 1 minute, or until you lose concentration (as if you were casting a concentration spell), your speed is reduced to 0, creatures have advantage on attack rolls against you, and you can use a bonus action to unleash a burst of energy at a point you can see within 120 feet of you. Each creature within 5 feet of that point must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier) or take force damage equal to your level + your Intelligence modifier. You can't use this trait again until you finish a long rest. **Hover.** You gain a flying (hover) speed equal to your walking speed, but can't fly higher than 1 foot above the ground.
