### Biology and Appearance
Yuuzhan Vong are an extragalactic species with gaunt appearances, sloped foreheads and dark hair. Their snubbed noses give them skull-like faces, which often bear ritual tattoos or scars. The blue sacks beneath their eyes display most of their emotions, and other Yuuzhan Vong find them attractive. The rest of their bodies are typically humanoid, barring any surgical alterations common to the elites of their society.

The Yuuzhan Vong nervous system is unusual and highly reactive to pain, which has shaped much of their culture. But perhaps the most notable trait of their biology is their profound resistance to the Force. They are unable to feel or be influenced by it, and its physical effects on them are middling at best.

### Society and Culture
Yuuzhan Vong religion is based on pain and sacrifice, both of their enemies and themselves. For this, elites like the Warriors are known for extreme self-mutilation for status and power, but most are forbidden from this honor. Their technology is completely organic, with everything from their tools to their starships being living creatures, or products thereof, bioengineered by a sacred art called Shaping. This ties into their fanatical loathing of mechanical technology.

Their people are rigidly caste-based, and the slaves, Workers and Shamed Ones of the lowest caste are not as beholden to their culture's doctrine of pain and hatred. Often, they suffer beneath it. Being mistreated so, they are uniquely open to new ideologies. Within the castes are also familial clans called Domains.

There does not appear to be any distinction between male and female names for Yuuzhan Vong.

### Yuuzhan Vong Traits
As a Yuuzhan Vong, you have the following special traits.

***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Constitution score increases by 2, and one other ability score of your choice increases by 1.

***Age.*** Yuuzhan Vong reach adulthood at 18 and live to about 100 years, but can live longer with certain organic integrations.

***Alignment.*** The xenophobia and warlike zealotry of Yuuzhan Vong society brings them toward the dark side, but there are exceptions among the lower castes.

***Size.*** Yuuzhan Vong typically stand at around 6 feet tall and weigh around 170 lbs. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.

***Speed.*** Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

***Force Immunity.*** You exist outside the Force, so many of its effects cannot touch you. You are unaffected by force powers cast by others that would not affect droids or constructs or that require a humanoid target. You have resistance to force and psychic damage caused by force powers.

***Force Barren.*** You are unaffected by beneficial effects from force powers cast by others, including regaining hitpoints.

***Force Contention.*** You have advantage on Strength and Constitution saving throws against force powers.

***Force Insensitive.*** You can not use force powers or take levels in forcecasting classes.

***Lost to the Force.*** Your thoughts and location cannot be discerned by the Force.

***Menacing.*** You have proficiency in the Intimidation skill.

***Pain Conductivity.*** Your conductive nervous system makes you extremely susceptible to pain. You are vulnerable to necrotic damage.

***Languages.*** You can speak, read, and write Galactic Basic and Yuuzhan Vong.
