## Psionic Feats Psionics is a very popular concept in Dungeons and Dragons. Ever since their inclusion in *Eldritch Wizardry* in the original D&D, every edition has had some form of psionics. In 5e, the mystic class was featured as an Unearthed Arcana numerous times, though was unsuccesful, mainly because of its rough balance and overextension. More recently, psionics have reappeared in Unearthed Arcana in the form of subclasses with a unique psionic dice mechanic. The purpose of these feats is to present the theme of psionics in a balanced and simple way, where anybody can gain such powers. The general theme of this version of psionics is to relate it to natural things, such as animals and plants. ### Arms of the Akashic Gorilla *Prerequisite: Intelligence of 13 or higher* ###### Your mind's reach has strengthened, allowing you to interact with the world around you with your thoughts. You gain the following benefits: - You know the *mage hand* cantrip. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for this spell. - As an action, you can cast *mage hand* and concentrate on it. While concentrating in this way, the range of your *mage hand* doubles and you can carry up to 100 pounds with it. - You can use your *mage hand* to make a melee spell attack against a creature within 5 feet of the hand. On a hit, the target takes force damage equal to 1d6 + your spellcasting ability modifier. ###### This damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6). ### Eye of the Aberrant Hawk *Prerequisite: Intelligence of 13 or higher* ###### Your mind’s eye is sharpened, allowing you to peer through all the world. You gain the following benefits: - You ignore any sources of disadvantage on Wisdom (Insight) or Wisdom (Perception) checks. - Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can mark them (no action required). On a subsequent turn, as a bonus action, you can expend the mark giving yourself advantage on your next weapon attack against the creature. You can only have one mark active at a time.

You gain the following benefits: - You have resistance to psychic damage. - When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright from psychic damage, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. - When you take damage, you can use your reaction to roll a d8. Add your Intelligence modifier to the number rolled and reduce the damage by that total. After you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest. ### Paws of the Eldritch Lion *Prerequisite: Intelligence of 13 or higher* ###### Your mind has become sharp, allowing you to attack others both physically and mentally. You gain the following benefits: - Increase your Intelligence by 1, to a maximum of 20. - When you attack with a weapon, you can use your Intelligence modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls. - When you make a weapon attack using Intelligence, you can deal psychic damage instead of the attack's normal damage.
