When you cast this spell, select one creature that you are familiar with (i.e., that you have met or seen before). You have advantage on the first Charisma check you make directed at that creature before the spell ends. If the check is successful, this spell cannot grant advantage on another check involving that creature for one hour.
If your Charisma check against the selected creature fails, it may make an Insight check against your spell save DC, deducing that you used magic to influence it on a success.
If you attempt to cast this spell while within view of your selected creature, you must succeed on a Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check contested by the creature's passive Perception. If you lose the contest, the creature takes note of your peculiar hand movements, and the spell fails.
