The Claw of tiamat
Trident, legendary, (requires attunement by a creature with dragon blood)
This trident glows with the energy of the nine hells bearing 5 pointed pikes at the end of its length instead of the usual 3. Each spike bears the iconography of a different coloured chromatic dragon coiled around its length. The Claw of Tiamat is a (+1,+2,+3 DM’s choice) trident and an arcane focus for sorcerer spells with the following magical properties:
Aspect of the Five. As an action you can change the damage type of The Claw from piercing damage to fire, lightning, cold, acid, or poison. It remains in this way until you choose another damage type or dismiss the transformation.
Might of the Dragon. As an action you can all upon the dread aspect of Tiamat’s power. Each creature of your choice within 30ft of you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save dc or be frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature’s saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to your Might of the Dragon for the next 24 hours. This property can’t be used again until the next dawn.
Breath of the Five. As an action when The Claw is set to a type other then piercing you can channel the depths of Tiamat’s power and unleash a cone of destructive energy. Each creature in a 60ft cone must succeed on a Dexterity (lightning, fire or acid damage types) or a Constitution (poison and cold damage types) saving throw or take 8d8 damage of the same damage The Claw is set to. A creature who succeeds this save takes half damage instead.
Spellcasting. The Claw has 10 charges. You regain 1d8+2 charges daily at dawn. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it, using your spell save DC: charm person (1 charge), cause fear (1 charge), dragon’s breath (2 charges), suggestion (2 charges), fly (3 charges), protection from energy (3 charges), charm monster (4 charges), elemental bane (4 charges).
Sentience. The Claw of Tiamat is a sentient lawful evil weapon with an Intelligence of 14, a Wisdom of 15, and a Charisma of 19. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 120 feet.
The weapon communicates telepathically with its wielder and can speak, read, and understand Common, Draconic, and Infernal.
Personality. A serious and cunning Red Abishai named Vutha Iejir resides within the The Claw. He is ruthless and demanding but often has a weakness for bribery and material wealth. The weapon demands that its wielder command utmost respect and to never bow to a being lesser then it but can also be sated through displays of cunning and a silver tongue.
