The Dragon Prophet

With help of your patron, you have acquired a superior insight in the ways of the Draconic Prophecy, far from what other members of the lesser races can fathom. It could be that you had some prophetic talent, or that you befriended a disguised Dragon, but you caught the interest of your patron and now you're a pupil of their prophetic knowledge. Maybe they want you to make sure that some prophecy occurs, or maybe you are the key part of a prophecy that would bring the destruction of the world. Discuss the details of your pact with your DM.

Expanded Spell List

The Dragon Patron lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Prophetic Favor

1st-Level Dragon Prophet Patron Feature.

Starting from level 1, you now are able to focus your consciousness into a state of awareness that lets you shape the future to better suit your situation. As a bonus action you can enter in prophetic favor a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain any expended uses whenever you finish a long rest.

In addition to that when you get to level 3, and select your Pact Boon you get a Prophetic Archetype linked to that Pact Boon (Optionally you can choose the free Archetype from the list instead of the base for the Pact Boon) While you are in Prophetic Favor you also gain the bonus action, Foreteller Salvation.

Foreteller Salvation. Whenever you are in prophetic favor you can plan ahead of the sigh of others, using the information of the possible outcomes of the following actions you can assure a moderate success for you. At will you can change your d20s in any ability check to a plain 10 and then add the modifiers.

Professed Guide

1st-Level Dragon Prophet Patron Feature.

You have a fine talent to see how to benefit others with your foreseen knowledge and as a result of your studies of the prophecy, you see how to better navigate through little decisions. You know the cantrip Guidance, blah blah doesn't count against your known cantrips. When you cast the cantrip on another creature you also receive the benefits as if you casted it on yourself.

Draconic Resonance

6th-Level Dragon Prophet Patron Feature.

At 6th level your patron’s presence can be felt every time you bellow a roar. Whenever you cast a spell that consumes a spell slot and uses verbal components, you can use a bonus action to force all creatures within 10ft to make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, they are frightened until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, they are immune to this effect for one hour. Deaf creatures automatically succeed the saving throw. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your CHA modifier (min 1) and regain expended uses after a long rest.

Divergent path of fate.

10th-Level Dragon Prophet Patron Feature.

You have refined your ability to see the often overlooked small threads of the prophecy, and take advantage of that to make sure that your objectives are accomplished, or your party is safe. Starting at 10th level, whenever you are in Prophetic Favor you can use Foreteller Salvation on any friendly creature within 15 feets of you with the same limitations of using it on yourself.

Master of the Fate

14th-Level Dragon Prophet Patron Feature.

Your control of the prophecy has strengthened with your knowledge and your short term insight sharpens as well, now you can trap those who you deem an obstacle to their oblivion. Whenever you're in Prophetic Favor, you can take one action to mark the fate of your target and trap them in the worst thread of events. As long as it is marked, every attack on any creature’s turns on the selected target scores a critical hit on 19 and 20 and you get advantage on saving throws and ability checks against the target. You can do two times per Prophetic Favor. The effects end after 10 minutes, if you dismiss it, or if the target is incapacitated.

Prophetic Archetype List:

Slayer: Pact of the Blade

You can now extend a part of your sight into your attacks. Whenever you are in prophetic favor you can reroll any attack roll made with your pact weapon, you can do it after seeing the result but before you know if you succeeded or failed the attack.

Shaper: Pact of the Tome

The threads of the prophecy show how your simpler spells can be used with more ease. When you finish a long rest, you can select up to 3 cantrips. While you're in prophetic favor you can cast them as a bonus action. If you cast one of your selected cantrips this way you have to finish a short rest to do so again.

Explorer: Pact of the Chain

Your patron grants their powers to your familiar in a limited way, whenever you’re in prophetic favor you can make your familiar impose disadvantage on the attacks of an hostile creature that is within 5ft of distance of the familiar.

Shepherd: Pact of the Talisman

You can save those whose time isn't yet to end and enable them to retake their fate through your talisman. As a bonus action you can choose an incapacitated friendly creature at 15 feet from you and make it expend one hit dice to heal an amount of hit points equal to the result + your charisma modifier (min. 1).

Hero: wild card

Last Words

This is a love project for the Eberron Campaign Setting™ I started it as a homebrew for my Husband, then friend in 2020 for their character in the campaign I was mastering back then, now we are going to revisit that campaign and revive the story line and we decided to update the homebrew to something more solid and balanced, this is technically still my first homebrew so I hope some of you love it and get a lot of fun playing it.

More Credits

I wouldn't have been able to finish this project without the help of my closest friends from Discord, Team Arcancer™ they helped me so much and still do it, and if some other of my project get to see daylight they also would be responsible and can be held accountable for that(/jk).

Also credits to Keith Baker, creator of the Eberron Campaign Setting™ I really love what he has done with the setting and maybe I'll keep on doing some homebrews that take old concepts 3.5 and take then to 5e, like this very project that is a reimagination of the Dragon Prophet prestige class.
