High Level Magic
Awaken Monster
7th-level transmutation
- Casting Time: 8 hours
- Range: Touch
- Components: V, S, M (An agate worth at least 5,000 gp, which the spell consumes)
- Duration: Instantaneous
- Classes: Druid
After spending the casting time tracing magical pathways within a precious gemstone, you touch a Huge or smaller monstrosity. The target must have either no Intelligence score or an Intelligence of 3 or less. The target gains an Intelligence of 10. The target also gains the ability to speak one language you know.
The awakened creature is charmed by you for 30 days or until you or your companions do anything harmful to it. When the charmed condition ends, the awakened creature chooses whether to remain friendly to you, based on how you treated it while it was charmed and it's alignment. If the target creature had an alignment prior to the casting of this spell, it retains it.
Conflagration
9th-level evocation
- Casting Time: 1 action
- Range: Self (120-foot radius)
- Components: S, M (a white glove inscribed with an arcane sigil)
- Duration: Instananeous
- Classes: Cleric, Sorcerer
You snap your fingers, and a moment later an explosion erupts outwards from that point. Every creature within 120 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw. Apon a failed save, the creature takes 20d6 points of fire damage and is knocked prone, and takes half as much damage on a successful one.
This spell does double damage to objects and structures and all open earth in the area is rendered barren.
The explosion can be heard from up to 1 mile away.
d'Artagnan's Emergency Safety Bubble
7th-level abjuration
- Casting Time: 1 action or reaction to literally anything
- Range: Self (10-foot radius)
- Components: V, S, M (a hemispherical piece of clear crystal and a matching hemispherical piece of gum arabic)
- Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
- Classes: Sorcerer, Wizard
A sphere of shimmering force encloses a 10-foot radius around you, containing everything inside. An unwilling creature must make a Dexterity saving throw to escape before the sphere closes.
Nothing—not physical objects, energy, or other spell effects—can pass through the barrier, in or out, though a creature in the sphere can breathe there. The sphere is immune to all damage, and a creature or object inside can't be damaged by attacks or effects originating from outside, nor can a creature inside the sphere damage anything outside it.
The sphere is completely immovable.
A disintegrate spell targeting the globe destroys it without harming anything inside it.
Gigantify
9th-level transmutation
- Casting Time: 1 minute
- Range: Touch
- Components: V, S, M (a jug of milk)
- Duration: 1 hour
- Classes: Sorcerer, Wizard
You cause a willing creature within reach grow to immense sizes for the duration.
Everything it is wearing and carrying grows with it. Any item dropped by an affected creature returns to normal size at once.
The target's size octuple in all dimensions, and its weight increases by a factor of five hundred. This growth increases its size by three categories to a maximum of Gargantuan. If there isn't enough room for the target to grow all the way, the creature attains the maximum possible size in the space available, and grows as more space becomes avaliable. Until the spell ends, the target adds 5 to all Strength checks, saving throws, attack and damage rolls, and also has advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws. The target's weapons also grow to match its new size. While these weapons are enlarged, the target's attacks' damage dice quadruple. Finally, the target's current hit points and hitpoint maximum doubles for the duration.
However, you have disadvantage on all Dexterity ability checks and saving throws, and reduce all Dexterity ability checks, saving throws, attack and damage rolls, and your AC by 5.
Goodmelon
9th-level transmutation
- Casting Time: 1 action
- Range: Touch
- Components: V, S, M (a melon vine)
- Duration: Instantaneous
- Classes: Druid
Up to ten melons appear near you and are infused with magic for the duration. A creature can take 1 minute to eat one melon. Eating a melon restores 20 hit points, and the melon provides enough nourishment to sustain a creature for one week.
The melons lose their potency if they have not been consumed within 24 hours of the casting of this spell.
