## Ranger Conclave: Spellbreaker *Spellbreakers are rangers specializing in dealing with magical threats, whether it be evil wizards that threaten a city under their protection, or magical anomalies. While they don't hate magic or those who use it, they know the threat that magic can pose, and have dedicated their lives to making sure magical power does not go unchecked.* ___ ### Spellbreaker Magic Starting at 3rd level, you learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Commando Spells table. The spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of ranger spells you know. | Ranger Level | Spells | |:---:|:-----------| | 3rd | *detect magic* | | 5th | *blindness/deafness* | | 9th | *dispel magic* | | 13th | *resilient sphere* | | 17th | *circle of power* | ___ ### Bonus Proficiency You gain proficiency in the Arcana skill. ### Path of the Anti-Mage You undergo training to deal with spellcasters. Whenever a creature casts a spell while within your reach (or your normal range if you are using a ranged weapon or melee weapon with the Thrown property), you can make an opportunity attack against that creature. \columnbreak ### Witch Hunter Starting at 7th level, you are better at recalling knowledge about spells and how to better counter it. You gain advantage on any Intelligence check (Arcana) made to identify spells and its manifestations. Additionally, whenever you hit a creature casting a spell with an opportunity attack as part of your Path of the Anti-Mage feature, the target must make a Constitution saving throw. The DC is 10 or half the damage dealt, whichever is higher. On a failed save, the target's spell fails and the spell slot used is expended. ### Spellweaver's Bane Starting at 11th level, you now hunt down spellcasters more effectively. In combat, you get a special reaction that you can take once on every creature's turn, except your turn. You can use this special reaction only to make an opportunity attack, and you can't use it on the same turn that you take your normal reaction. You can only take this special reaction if the opportunity attack is triggered by the target creature casting a spell. ### Magic Resistance Starting at 15th level, you gain advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
