Khiropian

The Khiropian are an inquisitive race by nature. Studying every sound and scent they can get their heightened senses on in the pursuit of knowledge and pattern recognition.

Some, grown from the same soil as any human or dwarf, acknowledge this curiosity with pure and honest intent. They find themselves pushed towards the study of the arcane or ancient.

Others, however, found themselves cultivated in harsher environments, which twisted their innate intellect towards the unforgiving and brutal study of combat. They are never eager to forfeit a victory, or their defeated prey.

Subrace There are two differing kinds of Khiropian. The smaller, more timid Coryn and the larger, cunning Dei.

Coryn Khiropian

Coryn are often found, if not amongst their own societies, among Aarakocra. They have large, front facing ears, sharper faces, and slightly longer snouts. They are often found in very studious professions, utilizing their love for gaining a deeper understanding through recognition of patterns. Often the Coryn use this innate love of study to research civilizations of the past, the cruel beauty of nature's cycles, or the arcane. Their wings, although smaller, are made from a much rougher skin, and their stature is often much more imposing and muscular.
