### The Soulbound Your pact is born not of a singular entity, but a sworn oath to another kindred spirit. An oath of marriage, a bond of brotherhood, the sacred vow of a life debt -- any such sworn bond can forever link two souls. Perhaps it pulled at the heartstrings of a solar or an archfey, or perhaps the very strength and conviction of this oath has borne fruit in the form of innate, soul-fueled magic. Whatever the source, your oath is the wellspring of your magic, and while your expertise with such unbreakable bonds allows you to temporarily partner with and support other allies -- never forget your sacred pact, lest you lose your powers... or your soul. ##### Soulbound Features | Warlock Level | Feature | |:---:|:-----------:| | 1st | Expanded Spell List, Soulbound Oath | | 6th | Kindred Soul | | 10th | Battle Bond | | 14th | Ultimate Sacrifice | #### Expanded Spell List The Soulbound lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. As a bonus action, choose a friendly creature you can see within 60 feet of you as your Oathsworn. You and the target are bound until you finish a long rest, you designate a new Oathsworn, or you are incapacitated. A creature cannot be more than one creature's Oathsworn, and you cannot be another Soulbound Warlock's Oathsworn. \columnbreak You may designate a creature as one of several types of Oathsworn, conferring a different benefit until the bond is broken. This benefit is active whenever you and your Oathsworn are within 60 feet of each other. * **Accomplice:** Your Oathsworn's first attack marks its target until the end of their next turn. Your first attack or spell on a marked target deals 1d8 bonus force damage. * **Bulwark:** At the start of each of your turns, you and your Oathsworn gain temporary hit points equal to 1d8 + your proficiency bonus. Additionally, any healing applied to one applies to the other as well. * **Marshal:** When you damage a creature with an attack or spell, your Oathsworn may use their reaction to make one weapon attack against that creature. * **Trailblazer:** Your and your Oathsworn's speeds increase by 10 feet while moving towards each other, and you both benefit from any enhanced vision or detection abilities the other may have. Additionally, once per short rest, you or your Oathsworn may use a bonus action to instantaneously swap places. * **Warden:** If you or your Oathsworn takes damage, the other may use their reaction to halve the damage dealt and take force damage equal to the other half of the damage minus your warlock level + proficiency bonus. You can designate an Oathsworn a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1) per long rest. #### Kindred Soul Starting at 6th level, you and your Oathsworn's connection strengthens. You and your Oathsworn can communicate telepathically as long as you are on the same plane of existence. Additionally, when one of you makes an ability check, you may use either one's ability modifier and either one's proficiency bonus if applicable. #### Battle Bond Starting at 10th level, you and your Oathsworn are attuned in battle. While within 10 feet of each other, you cannot be surprised, charmed, or frightened. Additionally, spells you cast with a range of self or touch can be cast on either you or your Oathsworn at a range of up to 60 feet. #### Ultimate Sacrifice Starting at 14th level, your bond can transcend death. If your Oathsworn is reduced to 0 hit points, you may use your reaction to drop to 0 hit points instead, with your Oathsworn regaining hit points equal to twice your warlock level and the ability to immediately take one action of their choice. Once one of you uses this feature, it can't be used again until you finish a long rest.
