Sorcerous Origin Spells

With the release of Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, the new sorcerer subclass added 10 spells as part of their sorcerous origin, making them significantly more powerful than the previously released subclasses. Therefore, it is only fair the remaining sorcerer subclasses receive the same treatment.

New Spells

You now learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the corresponding tables. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Draconic Bloodline

Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an conjuration or evocation spell from the sorcerer, druid or wizard spell list that deals acid, cold, fire, lightning or poison damage.

Wild Magic

Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a conjuration or transmutation spell from the sorcerer or wizard spell list.

Divine Soul

Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an abjuration or evocation spell from the sorcerer or cleric spell list.

Shadow Magic

Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a necromancy or illusion spell from the wizard, sorcerer or warlock spell list.
