# J'Drago's Manual of Useful Knowledge Hello there, dear little ones. I imagine you have not yet heard of me and my company, but soon you will. I like people like you, those who have the power to rend the heavens, *Adventurers*. I myself was an adventurer once! When, you ask? Well, it was a long time ago, possibly eight thousand years ago, when it all started. I was a boy at the time, a human, and I was a prince uncontent to his lot. Don't get me wrong, being a Prince was fine, but I was the *sixteenth* in like for the throne. In fact, that was my name; Juncten; meaning sixteen. My siblings and I usually went by our first initial followed by our middle name (hence J'Drago) even if the individuals had unique names of their own, like Salarien (S'Largo). Rather the thing I was uncontent with was my future. As a Prince, I carried some heavy influence in politics, even if I didn't claim the throne. At long length, after years of studying various subjects, I decided. I became a Poison Warrior, a special variety of Adventurer only found on my world. As a Poison Warrior, my body became inherently venomous, granting me immense power. One day, just after my initiation into the Acid Sect (a subdivision of the Poison Warriors) when I was thrown away forever. My eldest brother, the one who was set to inherit the throne, pulled me aside to show me a spell he had developed. He told me he would cast the spell *plane shift* on me, set to put me not five feet from where I was standing. I felt the world shift, and found myself on a completely alien world. To this day I'm not sure whether or not my brother intended to send me there, but I thank him for it. On that world I met many allies, like the Silver Dragon Kava and Pogs the elf. It's also where I became *immortal*. You see, youngling, on that world there was a vampire. Vampires, I'm sure you're aware, are bastions of immense necromantic power. And I thought, "Why not seize this for myself?". I rather reckon it was shocked that it was me biting it on the neck and not the other way around, heheh. Of course, all this did was bypass a step in the process. If one becomes a vampire spawn, they must drink the blood of their progenitor vampire in order to become full vampires free from their control. I cut past that step, going straight to drinking its blood. After that I simply needed a small amount of magic and a temporary death in order to become what I am now, an immortal being, resistant to the powers of death and mortal weapons who heals from mere injuries. Kava was terrified of me for quite some time... The second revelation came shortly after. We had to rather forcefully convince a king that magic wasn't immoral, and after that it came to me. My body naturally produces poison inside all the, erhm, *fluids* of my body. If I drink a healthy amount, I should produce easily over 100 doses of poison of fairly good poison! I started selling this poison, mostly to the military of that kingdom and couple of assassins I wanted favors with, and made a *fortune*. Within one year, I was a millionaire. I possessed a magically enchanted fortress (modeled to be superior to one on my world after expansion) which couldn't be breached by any force on that world, though I reckon a large focused attack from Baator or the Abyss might break its defense. I had married a green dragon (on my world that isn't unusual for those of my station who were willing) and we adopted two children, and I fathered... well a lot more than that, given how long both our lifespans were. But that was how I achieved my fortune! I made a business selling magic weapons and ammunition! I possessed a naval fleet that could sink anything from the material planes ocean ships to the war barges of fiends! And most of all, I found the *truth*. I bargained with gods and found the secrets of this multiverse! I know the dark secrets that should never come to light, I know how to maneuver the fiends to destroy themselves, I KNOW ALL! And I come with great tidings! I found your world adrift, needing a guiding light. I will stay here, using my resources to protect good in this world. I mean it, I will protect what is good, not my interests. And to those reading this letter... control your players ambitions.
