You manipulate the senses of a creature within range, forcing it to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, its perception of reality warps. For the duration, any creature that the target sees is invisible to it, and any sounds made by other creatures fail to reach the target. The same occurs for other creatures; the target is invisible to them, and sounds made the target fail to reach it.

If the target directly takes damage from another creature, such as a spell, it can repeat the save, ending the spell on a success.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level, the duration becomes 24 hours. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th or 8th level, the duration becomes 7 days. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 9th level, the spell only ends if dispelled or if the target succeeds on a saving throw against it.
