Stone Soul

Gorgonic Magic

You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Gorgonic Spells table. Each spell counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know. These spells can’t be replaced when you gain a level in this class.

Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an enchantment or a transmutation spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.

Earth Speaker

Starting at 1st level, the ancient voice of the earth speaks to you and in turn you can speak back. You learn to read, speak and write Primordial.

Additionally, you learn the magic stone cantrip. It counts as a Sorcerer spell for you and does not count against spells known.

Petrifying Arcanaum

Additionally, at 1st level, when you use an action on your turn to cast a spell of 1st level or higher you can use a bonus action to cause a curse to begin to emanate from yourself.

A faint green light fills a 15ft radius circle centered on you hardening all it touches for 1 minute. Any hostile creature that enters or ends its turn within this area must make a Constitution saving throw against your Spell Save DC. On a failed save, creatures have their movement speed reduced by 15ft and have disadvantage on weapon attacks until they leave the area.

You can do this once per short rest or once you have Sorcery Points you can spend 3 Sorcery Points to use this feature again.

Geomancy

At 6th level, you can alter the form of your stone curse. When you use your Petrifying Arcanaum feature, you can augment the way it manifests. Choose one of the following options, when you use your Petrifying Arcanaum it gains the corresponding effect.

  • Ruined Land: The stone cracks and erodes away causing the ground to become unstable. The area is treated as difficult terrain.
  • Parasitic Stones: Creatures withing the area of your curse will find the stone burying themselves within their skin. Hostile creatures take 1d4 bludgeoning damage if they end their turn within your curse.
  • Flowing Crag: The earth rises and falls as if it were the ocean. Creatures that fail the inital save for entering your cursed area are knocked prone.

Additionally, climbing costs you no additional movement.

Aegis of Earth

At 10th level, you can grant yourself and or a number of allies equal to your Charisma modifier a earthen shield for 1 minute.

Creatures with this shield gain +2 AC. Creatures with this shield can expend this shield early as a reaction when they take damage to halve the amount of damage taken.

You can use this feature once per short or long rest or you can spend 3 Sorcery Points to use this feature again. Additionally, your cursed areas radius increases to 30ft.

Eyes of Medusa

At 18th level, your curse is so strong you can will it through sight alone. You can cast flesh to stone without using material components. It counts as a sorcerer spell for you and does not count against spells known. You can cast this spell once without expending a spell slot.

You can't cast it in this way again until you finish a long rest or expend 5 sorcery points to cast it.

Additionally, when you cast a spell from your Gorgonic Magic feature you can use your bonus action to activate your Petrifying Arcanaum feature without expending a use of it or costing Sorcery Points.
