Path Of The Juggernaut Barbarian

Controlling Anger

All barbarians understand that anger is a powerful weapon. Some embrace it's raw uncontrolled power. Juggernauts however, seek to control their rage. The raw strength of a hammer is absolute, but the precise nature of a sword is just as. Juggernauts seek to hone their raw anger and adrenaline into a shield for their allies, and a terror for their enemies.

Roleplaying a Juggernaut

The path of the juggernaut barbarian is akin to an oath. Barbarians who take the oath understand the raw, all consuming power of their anger, but refuse to let it consume them. Be it some horrible event they caused, or something else entirely, every Juggernaut seeks a method to let out their anger peacefully when they do not need it. Be it long walks, or a hobby, what does your barbarian do to calm their fiery emotions?

Giant's Weight

Beginning at 3rd level when you adopt this subclass, the weight of your movements while enraged cause the very earth to tremble. While raging, a 5ft radius around you becomes difficult terrain. The area moves with you and lasts until your rage ends.

This radius expands at level 10 to 10ft, and again at level 14 to 15ft.

Grand Slam

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to slam your weapon down with enough force to send others flying. As an action, you slam your weapon into the ground, forcing all creatures within 15ft of you to make a strength saving throw. On a fail, the creature is knocked prone.

The DC for this effect equals 8 + your strength modifier + your proficiency bonus.

Channeled Fury

Starting at 6th level, you have become adept at fueling your attacks with anger. While raging, if you use your reckless attack feature you may add an extra 1d8 of the weapon's damage type if you hit. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses after a short rest.

Steel Body, Steel Will

At 10th level, your adrenaline allows you to shrug off attacks that would normally injure your battle hardened body. Additionally, your mind reaches a state of focus unheard of while angered. While raging, your AC increases by 2, and you gain resistance to Psychic and Force damage. Additionally your size grows to large while raging.

Juggernaut's Resolve

Beginning at 14th level, your ability to control the battlefield is unparalleled. As an action, you can let out a taunting roar. Any creature you choose within 30ft of you that can hear the roar must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be taunted for 30 seconds. While taunted, a creature must use it's movement to come within 5ft of whatever taunted it, and use it's action to attack it or cast a single target spell on it. The targets may repeat the saving throw at the end of their turns.

The DC for this ability equals 8 + your strength modifier + your proficiency bonus. Once you use this feature, you must complete a long rest before you can use it again.
