Magical Gifts

Everburning Coal

Wondrous item, very rare

When you set this coal on fire, it will burn forever without ever extinguishing, nothing short of divine intervention or wish can extinguish it.

Fey Lights

Wondrous item, very rare

This string of tiny colorful magic lights appears to have a life of its own. The lights emit dim light up to 5 feet.

The string is 30 feet long and weighs 2 pounds. If you hold one end of the lights and use an action to speak its command word, the other end darts forward to entangle a creature you can see within 20 feet of you. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or become restrained.

You can release the creature by using a bonus action to speak a second command word. A target restrained by the lights can use an action to make a DC 15 Strength or Dexterity check (target's choice). On a success, the creature is no longer restrained by the lights.

The lights have AC 20 and 20 hit points. It regains 1 hit point every 5 minutes as long as it has at least 1 hit point. If the lights drop to 0 hit points, it is destroyed.

When left alone, the lights tangle themselves. For every day that the lights remain unattended, you must spend 1 minute untangling it before it can be used again.

Hat of Animation

Wondrous item, legendary

This hat grants the spark of life to anything it is placed on.

When this hat is placed onto a Huge or smaller object, it is subject to the animate objects spell, except the object has an Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma score of 10, and the object can speak Common.

The animated object has a will of it's own, but is friendly to the creature who gave it life.

The effect of this hat lasts until it is removed.

Peppermint Cane

Weapon (club or quarterstaff), rare

This delicious weapon is a deadly as it is tasty. When you hit with an attack using this magic cane, the target takes an extra 1d6 cold damage from its minty freshness.

On a critical hit, this weapon instead deals an additional 3d6 cold damage and 1d8 slashing damage, but the cane is destroyed as it splinters into 1d4 pieces of peppermint. Eating on of these shards provides enough nourishment to sustain a creature for one day.

Furthermore, planting one of these shards in the soil in the evening will regrow the weapon by the next dawn.

Sack of Gifting

Wondrous item, artifact (requires attunement)

This large sack appears perpetually full and exceptionally heavy. A creature cannot lift this sack unless it is attuned to it, though, the sack can be moved if the creature attuned to it is moved by the same force.

When the creature attuned to this sack reaches into it, a small brightly wrapped parcel is placed into their hand and can then be gifted to a good-aligned creature with an Intelligence greater than 3, who is within 5 feet of them. The parcel contains one object of the recipient's choice. Once a creature has received a gift from the sack, they cannot receive another one for 1 year. If no such creature is in range, the sack fails to manifest a parcel.

Otherwise, this sack acts as a handy haversack with infinite capacity. Turning this sack inside out does not empty it of its contents, nor does placing bags of holding, portable holes, or other similar items inside the sack create a gate to the astral plane, though the sack cannot be forced into one.

Destroying the sack. This sack can only be destroyed if it enters the possession of someone who hates charity, happiness, and hope. While in their possession, this person must pull out items from this sack until it is empty, at which point, the sack loses all magic.

Sleigh of Flying

Wondrous item, legendary

This beautifully decorated horse-drawn sleigh can fly as long as it moves.

This sleigh can be pulled by any number of creatures, and extends its flight to each creature pulling the carriage.

The sleigh can carry any amount of weight that can fit inside it, but only flies as fast as the creatures pulling it can move it.

Stocking Cap of Mirth

Wondrous item, uncommon

This red and white cap does nothing, but looks very warm and inviting.

Curse. This cap is cursed with neverending joy, and wearing it extends the curse to you. Until the curse is broken with remove curse or similar magic, removing the hat fails to end the curse.

While cursed, you are filled with joy and cheer and cannot bring yourself to commit violence or feel negative emotions.
