Where others see a horde of enemies, a Commando sees opportunities, cover, and flanking points. Divide and conquer, and use their numbers against them. An army is nothing but people; and people are easily broken in the right conditions. Beginning at 3rd level when you choose this class option, you can force the battlefield to bend to your will.
You can expend a use of this ability to do one of the following: Friendly Fire. If an attack misses you, you can use your reaction to force the attack to be rolled again against a creature you are grappling. Shield Bash. You can use a bonus action to make a weapon attack with a shield or a weapon you are wielding with two hands. On a hit, the creature takes 1d6 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage and is pushed 5 feet away from you. Warlord's Lunge. When you make a melee weapon attack, you can increase the range of the attack by 5 feet. Combat Grapple. When you make a grapple attempt, you can choose to roll against the creature's AC instead of having an opposed roll. You can use this ability a number of times equal to 1 + your Constitution modifier (a minimum of twice), regaining all expended uses upon finishing a short or long rest. In addition, when you use your Action Surge or Second Wind abilities, you can regain an expended use of this ability. Starting at 3rd level, you can use your enemies as a bulwark against danger. While grappling a creature, you are considered to have half cover against attacks if the attack originates from within 5 feet of you or if it passes though a creature you are grappling. At 7th level, you can use your upper hand in combat to your advantage. You have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) and Charisma (Persuasion) checks against hostile creatures if they can see you grappling one of their allies.
"Shield Slam" by Stephen Sykes Beginning at 7th level, you are able to keep laying suppression on your foes. When you move at least 30 feet towards a creature and end up within reach of it, you can use your bonus action to make a single melee weapon attack against it or to attempt to grapple it. In addition, when a creature provokes opportunity attacks from you if it moves into the reach of your currently held melee weapon, as well as leaving it. At 10th level, you can lock down an enemy and move quickly through a battlefield. When you take the Attack action and hit the same creature with at least two attacks, you can move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks. In addition, you count as one size larger for the purposes of grappling creatures. Starting at 15th level, your recklessness can inspire your allies to do the same. When you make a grapple attempt or melee attack against a creature, you can expend a use of your Martial Law ability to choose a friendly creature within 30 feet of you. That creature can use its reaction to move up to 10 feet and make a weapon attack against a creature it can see. At 18th level, you can move from foe to foe with ease. If the creature within 5 feet of you is reduced to 0 hit points, you can move up to 15 feet and make a grapple attempt or melee weapon attack against a creature if they are within your reach.Fighter: Commando
