Leash of the Chain Master
Prerequisite: 5th Level, Pact of the Chain feature
As an action, you can cause your familiar to increase in size, granting it the following:
- Your familiar's size becomes Medium.
- Your familiar's fastest movement speed increases to 30 feet, unless it is higher.
- Your familiar's AC increases by your Proficiency bonus.
- Your familiar's Strength score increases to 13.
- As a bonus action, you can command the familiar to take the Attack action.
- The familiar’s weapon attacks are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming immunity and resistance to nonmagical attacks.
- Your familiar uses your spell attack modifier for its attacks, unless its is higher.
- Your familiar's damage die becomes 1d8 + your Charisma modifier.
This action can be taken as the same action that is used to cause it to reappear from dismissal.
Futhermore, once you take this invocation, your familiar's Hit Points become 4 times your Warlock level, unless its is higher.
Reins of the Chain Master
Prerequisite: Pact of the Chain feature
As an action, you can cause your familiar to increase in size. Your familiar's size becomes Large, and it's base walking speed increases to 60 feet, unless it is higher. This action can be taken as the same action that is used to cause it to reappear from dismissal.
While enlarged, your familiar transforms into a form more befitting a mount. (For example, a cat familiar turns into a tiger, while a sprite could turn into some manner of fey stag). While in this form, your familiar cannot attack, and if it takes damage, it is immediately dismissed.
Your familiar remains in this form until it is dismissed, or you use an action to change its form.
The Monster You Know
Prerequisite: 11th Level, Pact of the Chain feature
As an action, you can cause your familiar to increase in size, granting it the following:
- Your familiar's size becomes Large.
- All of your familiar's movement speeds increase to 60 feet, unless it is higher.
- Your familiar's AC increases by your Proficiency bonus.
- Your familiar's Strength score increases to 19.
- As a bonus action, you can command the familiar to take the Attack action.
- The familiar’s weapon attacks are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming immunity and resistance to nonmagical attacks.
- Your familiar uses your spell attack modifier for its attacks, unless its is higher.
- Your familiar's damage die becomes 1d10 + your Charisma modifier.
This action can be taken as the same action that is used to cause it to reappear from dismissal.
When your familiar assumes this form, you your familiar transforms into a form more befitting a mount, if you so wish.
Furthermore, once you take this invocation, your familiar's Hit Points become 6 times your Warlock level, unless its is higher.
