Wind Scythe Whip

Weapon (whip), very rare (requires attunement)

The Wind Scythe Whip was once the weapon of a powerful air elemental myrmidon. It has been used to slay countless adventurers in its lifetime. You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.

Hurricane Slash. You can use an action to make a melee attack against any number of creatures within 10 feet of you, with a separate attack roll for each target. On a hit, the creature's speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. Once you use the whip to make these attacks, you can't do so again until the next dawn.

Shattering Strike. You can use an action to make a DC 15 Strength check to tear the whip in two, performing a shattering strike. On a success, the whip is destroyed and releases its magic in an explosion that expands to fill a 120-foot-radius sphere centered on it. Each creature in the area must make a DC 15 Strength saving throw. On failed save, a creature takes 4d4 slashing damage and is knocked prone. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn't knocked prone.
