Magic Items:
Magical Prosthetics

Some who wish to answer the call of adventure think they can't due to an unfortunate bit of luck causing them to have missing limbs for one reason or another. However, despite this, many have worked around this with a variety of different prosthetics made from all kinds of material. Some are made to work around an economic restriction, some are more effective at a higher price, and there are even those that have a mystical origin. These items help to give everyone an equal chance at the glory of adventure.

Wooden Prosthetic

Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement by a creature missing a hand, arm, foot, or leg)

This prosthetic is made from carved wood and animated with magic. Watch out for woodpeckers. While attuned to the prosthetic, you gain proficiency in Wisdom (Survival) checks, and advantage on saving throws against effects caused by magical plants.

Iron Prosthetic

Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement by a creature missing a hand, arm, foot, or leg)

This prosthetic is made of cold iron plate etched with runes of magic to power it. While attuned to the prosthetic, you gain resistance to non-magical piercing, slashing, and bludgeoning damage.

Druidic Prosthetic

Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement by a creature missing a hand, arm, foot, or leg)

This prosthetic is crafted from rich mahogany and inlaid with glowing druidic runes. Small flowers bloom on the surface when exposed to sunlight. While attuned to the prosthetic, you have proficiency with Wisdom (Survival) and Intelligence (Nature), as well as Wisdom saving throws. You can also cast the find familiar spell at will without components.

The prosthetic has 3 charges, regaining all expended charges at dawn. As a bonus action while in sunlight, you can expend a charge to absorb the natural power of the sun through the prosthetic, regaining 2d8 hitpoints.

Reflavoring Prosthetics

Some DMs might want to have these prosthetics as an option or reward for a player to get, but said player doesn't have any missing limbs for one. For any DMs wanting to include these prosthetics or any others made in the future to players without missing limbs, I would recommend changing the items to wearable items (such as turning foot or leg prosthetics into boots and hand or arm prosthetics into bracers or gauntlets).
