# Bardic College: College of Rock Bards of the College of Rock live for their music and for their showmanship, specialising in loud, adrenaline-fueled anthems that cause consternation in followers of more traditional melodies. Rockers are often seen as anarchistic and challenging of social norms, and many a frustrated parent frets over what their children might be getting into at their hedonistic open-air concerts. ### Heavy Metal When you join this college at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in martial weapons, as well as spiked armour (see the primal Path of the Battlerager; SCAG). ### Wake the Neighbours Also from 3rd level, you learn to play your music obnoxiously loud. When you grant a creature a Bardic Inspiration die, you may choose a number of creatures that can hear you within 60 feet, up to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one creature). If those creatures are maintaining an effect that requires concentration, such as a spell, they must immediately make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or lose concentration. \columnbreak ### Loudspeaker Starting at 6th level, you are able to deploy a Portable Speaker to amplify your music. As an action, you may place the speaker into any free space within 5ft of you, which lasts for 1 hour or until it is destroyed. If you Bardic Inspiration or cast a spell (without a range of Self or Touch) while the speaker is active and within 100 feet of you, you may choose to make the speaker the centre of the spell for calculating range or area of effect. All effects must be transferred wholly to the speaker, for instance if you granted Inspiration through it, the target of your Wake the Neighbours feature would have to be within 60 feet of it as well, instead of your character. The speaker is a Small object with an AC of 10 and a number of hit points equal to your Bard level + your Charisma modifier, and it is immune to psychic and poison damage. You may use this feature twice, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest. ### Crowd Pleaser At 14th level, when you use your Bardic Inspiration feature, you may inspire two creatures with the same die. ### Power Chord From 14th level, whenever you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, all creatures of your choice within 10 feet of you must make a Strength saving throw. Those that fail are pushed to the edge of that radius.
